Would you rather Burgess or Lukosius? simple question...
Well Burgess I don't want playing another AFL game for the club.

Luko I would only chase if the Suns were keen to trade him out for a bargain as we have more pressing needs... but yeah, he can actually play at AFL level.

Burgess is depth, so it isn't really comparable. He wouldn't get a game in the best 22.

Thinking hypothetically, a forward line of Fogarty/Thilthorpe/Lukosius/Welsh would run extremely tall. I'd rather wait a year, especially since he's contracted until 2026. No chance Gold Coast gives him up for lower order picks, they'd demand our first (and more).

Hinge a senior player now?

Most recognised the issue with aging Tex and AGREED with the pre-season announcement of resting Tex for certain games - then the club proceeds to put him on a plane to Perth with a crook back???

And you dont think Laird and Smith have been putrid at times?

The calls on RoB have grown louder the last month and a rocket was warranted - guess what the club agreed . Nobody ever said Strachan was a world beater but if it brings a more resolute RoB back then good

Oh and you dont think we look ordinary WITH these senior players?

Yes we do and that is on the club and the coach to identify talent. If the mid-core 50-100 players dont have it then giving them more games wont help anyone

You say we cant mention Nicks yet you post the exact reason we are

Rethink this last paragraph again. You say a bank of players cant do it yet are happy to continue selecting them

Thats the madness

Well Hinge is 26 in a few weeks. 1 year younger than our captain.

Smith has been terrible. Putrid for Laird is probably harsh. But he hasn't been his nest this year, and should he be? I'd put the bigger focus on why Jones, mcHenry, Murphy and Co aren't progressing rather than focusing on a player dropping output who turns 31 this year.

Calls on Rob warranted. Club should face the music on not picking a replacement.

We didn't look ordinary against Port or Carlton.

I also never said others cant mention Nicks.

The whole point of my posts is that I am not happy with the continued selection of Jones, mcHenry, Murphy etc so not sure where you get that last part from.

Schoenberg deserves another year.
Gollant/Hamill should be moved on, Himmelberg will be traded,

My main thought is to clear the low ceiling players out. Its a tough one with Gollant and Himmelberg. We lack height and getting rid of one or both plus Walker is going to hurt us. Probably Burgess will stay on if both those go.
