Hopefully not, but if our plan is to develop him purely as either a KPD or a 3rd tall stuck behind Worrell and Keane then he probably doesn’t see many avenues into the team ATM, which won’t be helping his mindset. So am I.

I think he will be ok, did macasy ever get 18 touches and 10 marks in a SANFL game? Let alone his firstI might get crucified for my vision on Curtin... to me he has the skills and attributes to be a real star of the game however I'm getting very macasy headspace and energy vibes
We're the last two years two steps forward? Maybe. So last 2 years were 2 steps forward and everyone is considering 1 step back for just the first 3 games?
What's everyone's opinion of Nash? 25 UFA end of year and starting to find his groove in the midfield. I wouldn't be opposed to having a crack.
On a side note, bond got 20 touches, 6 clearances and a goal for us in the SANFL. That would have to be his best return so far?I think he will be ok, did macasy ever get 18 touches and 10 marks in a SANFL game? Let alone his first
There's zero evidence GWS is dumb.
They would have wanted our second. Why would they have taken Melbourne's instead? It doesn't make any sense.
It's only 3 games compared to the entire last 2 seasons but continue like that and it's definitely more than 1 step back. It will be 2 steps and back to 2020.We're the last two years two steps forward? Maybe.
The last three weeks feel like a LOT more than one step back.
We gave him a five year contract off the back of half a season in the midfield
GWS did have a lot of offers for their pick (if you believe Twomey), so I imagine they could’ve well said ‘fine, we’ll speak to another club’ pretty easilyWtf?
I didn’t say they were dumb , I said that I didn’t get the impression it would have been a deal breaker. They may have accepted Melbourne’s second if we pushed harder
We probably thought we'd finish ahead of MelbourneWtf?

Many with picks better than our first?GWS did have a lot of offers for their pick (if you believe Twomey), so I imagine they could’ve well said ‘fine, we’ll speak to another club’ pretty easily

If you believe WC and Haw’s future firsts were offered, yeahMany with picks better than our first?
I thought the appeal of ours was it was this year, GWS wanted a pick this year.If you believe WC and Haw’s future firsts were offered, yeah
Not sure GWS would’ve been so categorical about not taking a future pick if they didn’t like our offerI thought the appeal of ours was it was this year, GWS wanted a pick this year.
But does GWS believe we would have finished above Melbourne, highly doubtful so why wouldn't they want our 2nd rounder instead.Righ, and that’s why it looks like a blunder in hindsight, which I said at the beginning
No doubt they would have preferred our pick to Melbourne's.But does GWS believe we would have finished above Melbourne, highly doubtful so why wouldn't they want our 2nd rounder instead.
In fairness to move from our pick to get pick 8 costing only our 2nd rounder to secure Curtin, it would have been outright negligent not to do that. Getting him is a big get in my opinionNo doubt they would have preferred our pick to Melbourne's.
And we would have fallen over ourselves to say yes. Thinking these morons don't even know what we're cooking
I see 4 potential elite mids in this picture, at least, so 15 to go.
We probably thought we'd finish ahead of Melbourne
