No problems..it was more the premise behind a possible downgradeWould take Lindsay or Travaglia over Smillie/Langford in that scenario, personally

We really have no excuse to not nail this pick having the luxury of choice among those names. Move down to pick 6 and we have to settle for whoever slides.I was thinking if we are happy for any of the 6 mentioned, what do we lose by doing it if GC were open to it?
Yes but if we are happy with any of them it shouldn't matter who slides and i suppose the big plus in my musing was we keep our F1 which may be used as it currently looks (if we are to believe media reporting)We really have no excuse to not nail this pick having the luxury of choice among those names. No, it's more important to get a better midfielder than Lukosius.Lalor, Langford, Draper, O'Sullivan, Smith, Smillie are all open draft. IF we are happy with any of these players, could we do something like 4 + f2 for 6 and Luko....works if GC are really keen on one of these in particular and can avoid blowing 6 on Rioli
A lot more. No, it's more important to get a better midfielder than Lukosius.
I agree with him, has a pea heartLuko is considered soft by Dimma according to whispers. You don't need a luxury player. You need a midfielder.
I wouldn't say pea heart, but he's certainly not the toughest bloke.I agree with him, has a pea heart
Luko was preserving himself physically so he could give his all for his fave team the Crows when he finally came back, that's what Dimma knows too.Luko is considered soft by Dimma according to whispers. You don't need a luxury player. You need a midfielder.
I liken him to two former high draft picks from Melbourne that finished at Port. More Jack Watts with similar build and style. The other Jimmy Toumpas. I think the pea heart comment is out of line.I agree with him, has a pea heart
Toumpas just didn't have the talent.I liken him to two former high draft picks from Melbourne that finished at Port. More Jack Watts with similar build and style. The other Jimmy Toumpas. I think the pea heart comment is out of line.
Nah, he's SANFL level good but no more.Just wondering if anyone else here thinks Matthew Allen from Glenelg deserves a rookie spot on an AFL list? 26 year old, goal kicking midfielder who is a Vice Captain, indicating the Bays rate him as a person and as a leader. In Round 19 he had 30 disposals, 14 marks and kicked 3 goals. Across the season he has averaged 20 disposals, 5 tackles and 6 marks and 3 clearances a game. Just thinking he would certainly be an upgrade on several current Crows players. To me it seems like he has earnt a shot at the AFL, and is too good to be playing SANFL.
Not him but i did think had Port had Liam McBean up forward instead of that old broken wharf pier dixon, at least he might have pulled in a few contested marks and banged in a few goals. Mcbean is a very hard player to contain and would well be worth a rookie spot somewhere imoJust wondering if anyone else here thinks Matthew Allen from Glenelg deserves a rookie spot on an AFL list? 26 year old, goal kicking midfielder who is a Vice Captain, indicating the Bays rate him as a person and as a leader. Not at 30 he probably isnt. Not him but i did think had Port had Liam McBean up forward instead of that old broken wharf pier dixon, at least he might have pulled in a few contested marks and banged in a few goals. ahh, I thought he was a bit younger, fair enoughNot at 30 he probably isnt.
As I said, he is an upgrade on several Crows; who aren't even SANFL level good, but somehow playing AFL LOL.Nah, he's SANFL level good but no more.
Yeah no he isnt.As I said, he is an upgrade on several Crows; who aren't even SANFL level good, but somehow playing AFL LOL.
Interesting to see how confident people are on Cumming joining but then reports he’s touring both clubs this week. Strange to think he hasn’t made his mind up yet.
Smart he is doing his due diligence.Interesting to see how confident people are on Cumming joining but then reports he’s touring both clubs this week. Strange to think he hasn’t made his mind up yet.
aha good call.I'm not confident at all. Gut feel is that the preference for Cumming is Port but there's a domino or 2 that could/need to fall that is the cause of the delay. With Lukoscious I think the delay is potentially that initial discussions on trade value is too far apart for him to go public with a choice. But I also think we're more desperate than Port for an immediate uplift and using future first, even though it could be pick 4, delays any judgement on list management for 12 months. And Roo should be gone by then. Unless we create a paid role for him, which would be right up our alley.
