Doedee got band 2 from a four year deal and although I can’t find anything on his salary it surely wouldn’t be more than $700k? I know it changes yearly but surely a six year deal in the $600-700k still nets band 2?
band 2 due to Keaysgate in my eyes

also it was reported this year there is a step up change in salary structures re FA compo (ie you need to earn a LOT more this year to earn the same FA compo band)

Daniher won the semi with two clutch shots that were very difficult IIRC.
yep the deliberate out of bounds free kick from the boundary line (wrong side for a left footer) from 35-40 metres followed by a contested mark against the comps best KPD to win the game in the last couple of mins

If Fog is averaging a "stock standard 2 goals a game" from this point in his career, we're likely dancing in the streets with joy. Only 11 key forwards who played more than 10 games managed that mark last year. Especially as everything is in Fogs game is starting to click.

Also Danniher averaged 2.1 goals/15 disposals/6.4 marks/6.9 score involvements/0.6 GA and decent ruck numbers. We'd be happy with that production with a prime Thilthorpe if he remains a chop-out-ruck.
Hey I agree, it’s why key forwards are massively over rated. You need to kick on average 16 goals a game to win and if your star key forward is only contributing 2 of those then I can’t see why we pay so much for them. Very different 20 years ago when you could count on 4 or 5 from your Locketts or Dunstalls.

Brisbane won the GF by 10 goals and Joe only kicked 2, don’t think it’s going to hurt them much. Now fast and accurate mid forwards like Kai Lohman, who kick goals and feed those key forwards, that is where to invest your assets in modern list management.

Fair enough, once out of 200 odd games isn’t a great return though. How many times did he shank them when he could have iced a game?

Sort of... Salaries went up across the board by 30% with the new CBA - so a $600K salary in 2023 is equivalent to $800K in 2025. FA compensation is based on where the salary lands in the overall AFL salary spectrum, so you'd expect the salary required for each band to rise by the same amount.

Perryman now getting GWS a band one compo according to trade radio. So 15, 16 and also likely end of first round for CumminG

I imagine our F1 would very likely get us GWS picks 15 or 16 if we desperately want one of these players still left on the board (with perhaps something additional coming back to us this year even)

How’s it different to Lukoscius? No one’s implying he should come to whichever SA club GC decide to deal with.
Difference is the Club GC , clearly don’t want him
With Port, both parties have clearly said they can resume normal arrangements

12 is more desirable

North probably aren’t giving 2 directly up for Houston if they manage to convince him to come. Split 2 into 7 and 8. Send one of those and a F2 to port for Houston

Why would GC push Chol out last year and then bring in Himmelberg this year? Very strange.
Well Dimma seemed to be hinting Luko wasn't guaranteed best 22 status into the future so maybe he replaced Luko as forward depth with the added ability to chop out in ruck? ;-)
