The 2021 mid-season draftee had a breakout campaign, finishing with averages of 13.8 disposals, 5.1 tackles, 3.4 clearances (all career-highs), showcasing an attractive blend of class and physicality at the contest.

Is actually much better he avg
18.6 touches and 8.1 tackles

when he moved to the mids and had 50% CBA to finish the year

Meanwhile Hinkley is on 5AA and the Port board is going into meltdown.

A bit to play out, so GWS maximise their FA compensation ....rumour is a 2nd round for Cumming as it stands, pre Peatling announcement
AFL.com had a tier 2 speculated a few days ago (saying Perryman and Cummin may both earn same FA compo) meaning we have paid up (800k+). So end of first round obviously if that’s the case

Sounds like Ken is refreshed and ready to go again and again after seeing Chris Fagan win a premiership, at 58 Ken is spritely compared to old man Fagan at 63.
Some ITK Port Power posters were correct, Hinkley had to make the PF otherwise he would have been sacked, that win against the Hawks is a win that keeps on giving.

He’s not a strong build for a mid, but is hard at it and can lay a tackle and slot a goal. Most importantly for us, he is different from all of our current mids and he has pace! Will slot in nicely.
Built like a wingman but as hard as a cat’s head.
Think he will win a lot of fans and would probably be second behind Izak for pace.
We haven’t had someone who can break centre and run away from players for a while.
Genuinely excited to get him to Adelaide.

So with Peatling coming in, does this reduce our need for speed at pick 4, and we just go for best available (even if that is Langford)?

(I'd still like Lalor/ FO'S before Langford, but able to be convinced otherwise by those closer to the draft prospects)
I think list management know there's a good chance that West Coast will draft Draper & are ensuring, in chasing Peatling, we have more speed if that happens. Come on down Lalor(or FO'S).

Should be quite a different dynamic in the team with Peatling, Cumming, ANB, Pick 4 at some stage.
A bit more lethality and breakaway to us.

Hopefully finally some payback for stealing Phil Davis

Ken comparing himself to Fagan is hilarious. He's four years advanced of Fagan, who has made two Grand Finals including a Flag, and six consecutive years of Top 6 finishes. Port fans will be blowing up hearing that.

Keep working hardery for longery, Ken.

That's worse than Nicks comparing the Crows to Sydney on AFL 360.

Go for power like Lalor.
I was leaning a bit to the speed of Draper .....however with 3 players coming in, with genuine leg speed, I'm happy with Lalor or Draper ....whoever is still available

The flexibility at our disposal now is enormous .....most sides are simply 2-3 players away from average to good

We were good last year, our ladder % supports that POV ....just injuries unbalanced us, and we had to play too much inexperience

We won't have that problem in 2025 ......but the last week, has spelt the end of AFL careers for some of our players, still holding onto some hope

Talk about competition for spots next year
