If there is someone available we like at 10 we should trade our F1 for it. Richmond don't need that many picks this year.

And pick 10 in strong draft this year could be equivalent to pick 6 or so next year.

I'm guessing the reason GWS are pushing for a 2nd over 2 3rds is the point changes for next year.

For example this year 40 + 46 this year is worth 760 points or equal to pick 25.

Next year 40+46 is 372 points or equal to pick 34.

There's a Richmond F3, which will be the first pick of the round. I called it Pick 40 and it generated Pick 4 as the result. Call it Pick 3. I'd still do that deal, especially with Bolton being – on paper – such a nice fit for Freo.

i agree for pick 10 or 11 but we would need to decide to pay out someone first - Shoey etc

I actually think Tiges would be open to it also as they mentioned they wanted to spread incoming young talent over a couple of years - not just this year

Having them all start together and train together will have a huge impact on their comraderie

And they get the choice to offload some for as good as picks

But Benny Gale - yes no longer with them - has left a blueprint for future Richmond

I'm confused. And yes its partly a smartarse response but are you saying players want out when teams perform poorly?

Because apparently our kulcha has allowed us to not only keep players but retain them on loooooong contracts

I think people underestimate the impact of losing so many key on and off field figures at once will have on a club. Players like Baker and Bolton are the only reason they even won those couple of games; Baker especially was a huge leader for them. No more Dusty inspiration. Hard to see Lynch having a huge impact after 2 years of major injuries past 30.

Could it be that GWS are waiting for the Stringer deal to be done OR that the Peatling deal might also be wound up in that in a 3 way scenario?
