Just ok? That’s an A grade off season, the best this club has had overall in over 20 years in terms of bringing in multiple players that improve the best 18. Also kept pick 4.

Still a good deal to West Coast. Barrass is a top player but 29yo. F1,2,3 is a good outcome although I expect the Hawks next year to be pushing top 4.

If we view 2x F3 + F4 as being roughly equivalent to a F2 in terms of pick values (which is what we will likely use them for), then we have essentially retained our entire 2025 pick haul, while bringing in three new quality players, and keeping pick 4 untouched.

Now we just need to hope the Welsh bid comes in late and we've done very well.

Technically we "caved" because we wanted their F2 for our 2 F3 but instead they gave their F3 and F4.

When it's all said and done we got 3 x best 22 players for less than 2 x 2nd round picks minus change.

Didn't give up pick 4, didn't give up a F1, didn't lose anyone who'd hurt, and boosted our best 22 with three acquisitions that we didn't overpay for (well, outside of FA), and were relatively cheap and we didn't re-recruit Rory Atkins
