Ive heard twomey say port cannot trade their F1 this year without appealing AFL rule. As for the above not sure about that. That is a rule to do with the draft, and as JHF was traded I cannot see how that would be linked unless by special exemption they got from AFL (possible but I dont remember this being granted).

Port did appeal the trading of F1 and F2 fron the same draft and were given an exemption to do that once I remember.
As others have explained to you above, they will have no problems whatsoever with gaining an exemption.

He won't but if the club wanted a good new story Michaelanney would win it.

Probably be Keys, he had a good year.
It's an open field, with nobody having starred consistently across the season.

I think I'll back Soligo for the win.

Dawson polled coaches votes in the most games. I reckon he'll get it

Laird isnt going anywhere except to Peter Jackson to get a new yellow jacket fitted

Interested to see how Worrell polls on a votes per game basis. Butts too.

Rankine another who had some high points but not enough games. Crouch the same.

Keays, Dawson, Laird, Sholl all high up there. Top four I reckon.

Soligo, Hinge, Rankine and Butts next four.

Next tier down Fog, Keane, Max, ROB.

Votes per game the more interesting table for mine. Votes per game minus the WCE and NM games more interesting still.

The club doesn't provide the full votes breakdown any more.

That's a shame

They've realised people can see the glaring discrepancies between the votes they give out and their selections

Keays had a poor first month iirc
Nearly the whole side was poor then!

I would argue Sholl has had more quieter games than Keays, but not much in it.

Coaches don't want the accountability... so we can review how the **** the likes of Murphy got so many votes.

Keays had a poor patch around the halfway mark of the season, too

But Sholl only really came in and performed from about r9 or 10 onwards, I think

Gut feel is it’ll be Keays, but it’s really up in the air right now
