People are laughing, but it does make me wonder. SOS has been a tough bastard come trade time, and maybe his reputation ha started to catch up to him? Regardless, I think we have taken a bit of conservative approach to our future hand, and haven't wanted to reduce our first round presence (i.e., use a F1 to upgrade our current 7/8) which some clubs have been doing...

Unless we know what has been offered, what has been rejected over the last week it's silly to assume petty things like that have anything to do with it.
Also, given how quiet this trade week has been are we to assume about 14 clubs have grudges with each other?

People are jumping at shadows simply because we're completely in the dark about discussions so far.

3 first rounders, 3 academy kids, Macrae with 32. Add in Phillips/Taylor as DFAs, Sandy rookie, ruck depth

Was wondering this too. Picks will move around but I don't think by that much. Maybe we will pay them back later

Love it. 28, 29, 31 are most likely getting eaten in bids and now 27 as well. Basically pick 45 for a one-spot downgrade of 27

Absolutely. That is a very clever trade.

Effectively pick 45 is a bonus pick for sliding one spot.
