I think I would now. The 2 or 3 is spiking my interest, particularly with 8 potentially being just that dip in tiers.

That deal going through is going to kill Mini's senior coaching career before it even starts. History will show it as dropping generational talent, heavily linked if Reid walks and probably overwhelming seen as nepotism. SURELY like the Port board the Eagles board put a stop to it and threaten to sack the list management team.

11 would be such a good pick for us. Melbourne and Richmond likely to take KPP with 9/10, meaning that we could potentially get Smillie, Reid/Langford + Lindsay

The Giants were just a random example. I’d imagine this is more a relevant discussion trading back with a team 1 or 2 spots back.

Richmond might be the go-to here if they end up with something like 1,2,10,18,20,23 (10+18 from Freo for Bolton, 6+23 for Rioli, 6+14 to North for 2)

With pick 8 and just Melbourne between us at 9 who are likely to go tall (and Richmond who will also want a tall or Travaglia after FOS+Lalor at 1&2) there might be an opportunity here to pick up 18/20/23 by swapping 8 for 10 to get them in front of the Dees. Still should get whoever was our primary target at 8. A little risky because we don't know what the Dees will do but a pick in the early 20s would be well worth it IMO

I would consider a deal with 15+16 but thats only because I think Taj Hotton is as good as the top 5 prospects and should be available. But going to the draft with 7+8 is an incredible spot to be in.

But a good chance that Hotton is gone too.

Love it. 28, 29, 31 are most likely getting eaten in bids and now 27 as well. Basically pick 45 for a one-spot downgrade of 27
