There was an absolute sense of inevitability about that dismissal. Khawaja cracked the sooks and decided to swing at everything. For such a usually disciplined player that's a poor showing.

Dumb but kind of not a bad one to lose. Gets Head in to bat with Smith and if he stays in for any length of time then the lead will balloon quickly. Not sure the same can be said for the departing Khawaja, who’d already done his job.
