My prediction is Khawaja will play Boxing Day, struggle and announce his retirement after the match and therefore locking in a farewell test at the SCG. Probably same outcome if he makes runs next week. He's not making it to the Ashes.
Ashes next year could see a top order comprising 3 of Hunt, Konstas, McSweeney, Labuschagne. A lot to play out next year.

We thrashed them in Adelaide, and if not for weather and the injury to Hoff at Brisbane, we probably win, but you think the selectors should make 4 (5 if you include Boland) changes?
Its a bold strategy Cotton, lets see if it pays off.
But honestly, assuming head is fit, I would be very surprised if there were more than 2 changes including Boland.
Just be happy you aren’t a selector, you’d get torched.

Why on earth would Webster not get the gig in front of Marsh?
I’m actually going to be in Sri Lanka for the tests.
It’ll be interesting to see who gets picked and who hasn’t retired.
Both tests are in Galle, which can pretty much throw up any kind of pitch imaginable.

Yeah it won't be that many but i think we need to make at least 2 maybe 3.
Hoff for Boland is one
I think we need to make at least one or maybe two changes out of Sydney, Koala, Marnus and Marsh.
You can not keep carrying a top 6 where 4 of them look completely cooked and one of the 5 has only looked good in one innings.
Personally i would like to see Boland, Konstas (changed my mind on that one) Webster for Hoff, Marsh and one of the openers.
