One of those random thoughts and synapses going off in my head.

This match reminds me of the Warne 99 test at the WACA v New Zealand.

NZ seemingly took control of the test with a big first innings, 4 tons?
Aus were in a fair bit of trouble before Warne and Martin steered past the follow on
NZ scrimped and scrounged through the 3rd inns to set a 440 lead,
Aus lost Langer and Ponting early, the rest kept scoring at about 3rpo until the final session when Gilchrist decided to tee off and briefly scare the Kiwis into playing for the draw.

In writing no. But in practice every umpire at every level enacts it in this manner. Can't be giving guys out unless you're certain. Ergo batsmen gets the benefit of doubt.

I’ve umpired for ten years and it’s [emoji[emoji6][emoji6]][emoji[emoji6][emoji6]]% out or [emoji[emoji6][emoji6]][emoji[emoji6][emoji6]]% it’s not. I’ve never gone on benefit of the doubt… any umpire that uses that as an excuse shouldn’t be umpiring

But how do you know if it's clipping the bails?

What you see is a calculation, not what actually would have happened. There's a margin of error.
All you can do is stick with the current system, or agree that if the projection says anything is hitting its out, anything isn't hitting its not out, regardless of what the umpire initially ruled

It's like footy, it's not just the frees that are given, it's the ones that arent
Yeah.

And also the umpires are always bias (sic) against my team.

This great game is being controlled by technology that is not accurate.
Find it funny that ball tracking is seen as this overarching piece of tech that has the final say when it’s just as unreliable as snicko.

All it’s done is make the onfield umpires rely on it as a backup and not trust themselves to make difficult calls which then means “umpires call” is more unbalanced than it should be.
