Umpires pay soft frees that are technically there for high contact multiple times every game, people here are losing their minds over nothing.

If bombers wanted to win they should have kicked more goals in the second half instead of letting GWS control the game at their scoring end.

Replay showed it collected his noggin.

Never said he didn’t emphasise it.

But then there was a few incorrect disposal calls missed by the umps in our fwd 50 where the Bombers where allowed to throw it out.

The umpire or the timekeeper left the clock stopped after Ward was paid that free kick and at least 30 seconds elapsed without the countdown being restarted. Lucky that Essendon didn’t scrape in before the siren went.
