Worst quarter of footy tigers have played for a while

Ohh well sh!t happens

good to get it out of the way early in the season i suppose

Yep... "Tigers don't turn up until round 12". "Always drop games early in the season" "Happens every Richmond premiership year" "Better now than in September" "Losing games only makes us stronger" "this is completely normal behaviour and nothing bad is happening" etc etc

Whatever helps you lot sleep tonight...

Well, most of it is accurate. They’ve won 3 flags in 4 years, often with slow starts.

Lets be real here, Richmond were rubber stamped as no chance to win the 2021 premiership as soon as they lost to the Sydney Swans. Melbourne are the benchmark of the 2021 season.

Congratulate Geelong for finally beating Richmond at the MCG for the first time in quite awhile, but in the grand scheme of things it means nothing as they did not do it when it matters in September (or October like last year!).

I hate to be that guy but they didn’t play them at the G in October last year.

I agree with what you’re saying though 😂

Yes it works, until it doesn’t.
