Dominated against your mob a couple of weeks ago and BOG today. Be quiet mate.

Enjoy the win champ

You mustā€™ve missed the memo.

Youā€™re not a great side. Just because youā€™re the reigning premiers, doesnā€™t mean diddly in 2022. Youā€™ve lost 3 in a row now, and the last one was by 26 points against a side that was projected to finish bottom 4 after you were up by almost 4 goals.

Youā€™ve got the arrogance about your post, but deep down youā€™re just as concerned as your fellow supporters.

Melbourne is in deep trouble, not just on-field, but off-field too, with teammates punching on with each other.
Jesus Christ what is this childish rubbish.

Melbourne are a great side, every side has flat patches and theyā€™ve been beaten in three terrific games of football where ascendancy has swung both ways through the day. For periods in all three Melbourne looked dominant.

Theyā€™ll be about at the pointy end of the season, far too much class not to.

Never change BF - where a football teamā€™s outlook for the year is a week to week proposition. Dees will be fine and Pies looking pretty good.

God you go on with some absolute verbal diarrhoea

Still sitting equal top after 13 rounds, would rather be in our spot right now than 15 others teams positions

Lost the same game last year and it didn't kill us

2017,18 & 19 premiership teams dropped 3 in a row at the same stage of the year. We could be travelling better for sure but it is hardly seasons over stuff

Enjoy the win and celebrating being 8th on the ladder

Get off it. Week in, week out, youā€™re the biggest suck up to the opposition. People are allowed to have different opinions to you.

Youā€™ve kicked 7, 9 and 8 goals in your last 3 weeks. Have MASSIVE problems with converting your i50s into goals, and have only beaten St Kilda, in the top 8, this year.

Get your head out of the clouds and donā€™t be so hurt when someone says something you donā€™t like about your footy club. Youā€™re not impenetrable and on some pedestal just because youā€™re the reigning premiers.

Lol. Coming from a bloke that PM's posters when they disagree with him that's funny

You go on with absolute tripe all the god damn ****ing time.

Yeah and my opinion is that youā€™re an absolute tool and a totally ungracious winner.

Happy to give credit to sides for what they achieve.
Name calling - great response. I havenā€™t said anything about Melbourne that isnā€™t unwarranted. Theyā€™ve beaten 1 top 8 side this year and have kicked less than 10 goals a game for the last 3 weeks. Theyā€™ve got issues. Blind Freddy can see that. You donā€™t need to be a suck up to the opposition as a form of sympathy and have pot shots at others if they arenā€™t suck ups like you.

Share the screen shots of any PMs Iā€™ve ever sent to a poster lol go on, Iā€™m waiting.

What a loser, making up BS stories. At least back it up if youā€™re going to make that claim.

So everything is all dandy at Melbourne? Youā€™re comfortable with where your club is at? Beating 1 top 8 side so far up to round 13 and have kicked less than 10 goals a game for the last 3 weeks.

Melbourne are doing what Melbourne have done for 20+ years. Followed up one good year with a bad one.

You might say it is laughable to suggest a team that won their first 10 games is having a poor year, but when you consider that 9 of their first 10 opponents are not currently sitting inside the 8, it is not that far fetched to suggest the soft draw over the first 10 rounds has hidden some issues, and things are not as rosy as the 10 game streak may have suggested.

They've had one win against a top 8 side, and are currently 1 win and 3 losses against the current top 8.

They need to fix things quickly if they want to finish top 4, given their run home includes:
Lions (twice), Cats (at GMHBA), Dockers (our west), Pies again and Carlton. Power at TIO and Bulldogs at Marvel might even be considered 50/50 games given Melbourne's current formline, and their only gimme looks like Adelaide at AO.

Still a very talented side, but a tough second half of the season to come if they keep following the form we've seen in the last 3 weeks, given their opposition looks fairly tough from here on in. Will not be surprised to see them fall out of top 4 by the end of the season given the draw to come.

How dare you bad mouth the reigning premiers? Youā€™ll p off a lot of people here by doing that. Luckily, wasnā€™t your team playing today, otherwise theyā€™d call you an ungracious winner.

Melbourne will be fine, get May back and it changes their output

Results mid way through the season means little
Their defence isnā€™t the problem. May does nothing about their funk. Theyā€™ve kicked less than 10 goals a game for 3 weeks and have beaten no-one of any serious quality all season. Their run home is going to be the real test.

Weitering comes back for Carlton, thatā€™s something different, because youā€™ll also have Mackay and Curnow kicking bags up forward. Dees have Ben Brownā€¦
