Port shouldn't complain about the Umpires for a good while...

We've been shafted by the umpires for years but now have to kiss their butts after just 1 or 2 games of being treated fairly?

Playing next week at the stinking cattery so no doubt the umpires will be going in dry there like they always do to visiting teams.

A vic umpire should never be allowed to officiate at the cattery.

Lucky its at AO next Thursday night.

Port's fixture v Pies' so far (current ladder, 1st=18, 18th =1).. (and Port get an extra point) .. Port 117. Pies 121.

I would say Bailey Smith has had a better career so far, Jack Lukious is having a ripper year and Walsh is being coached horribly but had a good first 4 years.
Also OP didn't say best pair, he said best 2 players. Best pair of draft picks, definitely.
Other than nightclub partying techniques, in what area has Bailey Smith had a better career ?

Both have been AA nominations, Rozee has made the side, both looking like making it this year with Butters close to Brownlow favourite and at the top of the coaches votes. Both have had at least one injury interrupted year.

They have enough genuine stars that make them dangerous at the pointy end, led by Bont.

Only takes a few good games strung together to win it.

They were more dangerous a couple of years ago when they made it to a grand final.
Right now, they have no x factors. Their midfield is brilliant but there's no game changer.

Bont, Libba, Smith and Naughton are all x factors when in form. JUH showing signs too.

The rest of the team are out of form right now.

Agree there are too many plodders, but the above names can drag them over if everything else clicks

Libba is and will never be x factor. He's a one paced inside bull. No different to Ollie Wines.
You are only mentioning Smith as he terrorized your mob in a final.
He's overrated. Never an aerial threat and barely busts apart games. Treading in the same trajectory as Treloar.

Naughton I agree on but he's not exactly holding his own at the moment.
Probably becomes an All Australian full back later on down the track.
