I think we have a list that is deeper then it has been for a long time , look at the ins all very acceptable and can be argued that they should already be ins. Varcoe , Elliot , swan and sidebottom missing, a chance to prove that depth and the season is one game old.

Cloke to kick 2. 4 (but that's 6 touches ;) )
Pies by 20 points

Hopefully we can turn around last week's form. It's very very hard to see a win tonight with last week still so fresh and vivid in the mind, but as has been pointed out to me by posters on this board, many teams turn it around after beltings like that. Much like we did in 2014 after Round 1 and North last year.

God I hope so. I can't handle another weekend bring ruined like that.

I have tipped the Tigers tonight. There are just too many negatives on our side of the fence at the moment.

1. Confidence looks low
2. Work rate is down
3. Swan and Steele are massive outs
4. Unsure of Reid's ability to play at AFL intensity
5. Forward line is a massive concern

To win this game we need to:

Limit the influence of Martin and Reiwolt
Raise our work rate considerably and win contested possession
Hit targets
Get Cloke involved in the game

I hope Brown is fit. I've been waiting for the Brown/Reid lead defense to get back in groove for too long. If they get some kind of continuity this season, I reckon we'll be okay.

Didn't get to watch the game live, only just caught some of it now. Terrible luck for Swannie, would be awful if that were to be the end of the road, fingers crossed.

Treloar was great, especially off a limited preseason, Adams flew the flag and Pendlebury and Sidebottom tried their hardest in a losing cause.

No idea if there was an impact due to the drugs ' revelation ', but personally don't see it as any sort of excuse.

We're catching the Tigers at a good time, given their current run of injuries, and we are capable of better football than we showed in Sydney.

Didn't follow Cloke's game closely. He seems to have come in for a lot of criticism, but was probably on a hiding to nothing given how one-sided the game was.

Looking forward to the game and hoping we can rebound like we did after the round one flogging to Freo previously.

My tip is mark robinson will not be at this game tonight

I am really looking forward to the march across the Barak Bridge, smelling the cool of the evening starting to settle in, the glow of the lights at the 'G and the buskers blowing out the club song on their trumpets.

Hope the Collingwood ferals (myself included) bring their A-game voice tonight. Those Tiger mongrels need some taming.

Meeting up with the fellas for the first game at the Blazer Bar. Good times ahead come win or loss, but the beer will taste sweeter in direct correlation with the amount of points we win by :)

Tipping Pies by 25. Cloke, Moore to get 3, Fasolo 2 and then a sweet mix of goals from our pumped-up midfield. Ben Reid to cherry-pick the ball as Richmond keep trying to bomb into the 50.

Go Pies

If Vickery kicks our butt again (9 goals in 2 games vs pies in 2015) I'll be annoyed. Especially seeing as Keeffe would be an ideal matchup. Seems both Frost and Brown struggle to play on the really tall forwards. Could Moore be an option if Vickery does look dangerous early?

Can't see Reid playing as a really defensive player, the club would prefer for him to play loose down back I reckon.

I've had the feeling that the Pies are going to win all week so I'm not changing now. Go Pies!

Love the confidence Kirby.....I felt that way all last week also didn't turn out that good for us :drunk:

Can't wait for the game the butterflies have started.........stop their supply forward (Martin & Cotchin) and we hopefully get over the line.

Go Pies!
