There's no tiptoeing around the fact that this is an enormous game for the playing group.. Bucks is the one in the gun right now, but his troops have done him no favors in the past three weeks. There needs to be a response to what was a comprehensive beating from a very ordinary St Kilda side.

On the bright side, Varcoe comes in for his first game which is very exciting. By far my favorite player last year and really sets the standard for toughness and willingness to compete (who would've ever said that when he was at Geelong). Sidebottom should come in and atone for his monumental screw up in round 1 to give us a much needed lift in the middle.

I think we'll win. I have to believe this team, for all its flaws, is capable of more than this.

That is counteracted by both teams' poor offences.

Demons scored big last week

I reckon this sums it up, with Swan, Elliott, Williams, Scharenberg and Ramsay out of our best 22 injured, and with the off field problems going on at the club, all I want to see is a four quarter effort.

We stopped trying for a good 20 minutes after half time last week, and did the same against Sydney in round 1, I don't ever want to see that again, or I'll be calling for more than the senior coach to be cleared out.

The Dees showed last week what they are capable off, they can move the ball quickly and score heavily if you allow them, although North have one of the worst defenses in the league, so we should be able to hold them up a bit better.

We have just about the Worst Defense in the AFL at the Moment

At the end of the day if the favorite wins they will be 2-2. Pretty simple formula, win and season is alive.
