We only just begun our season and we already lost our coach, we have been some been some really dark times at north over the past 4 years.

We will now prove how resilient we are

Thoughts are with Clarko, must be brutally tough to go through it let alone having it drag out so long and in the public spot light. Get well mate, recharge and see you when you're ready.

As for the impact on the team, well the season is completely shot anyway particularly with the fresh round of injuries. Its not even a shadow of the team we should be fielding, so in my eyes at least if Clarko is feeling this way there no better time to take a break.

If he can recharge while in contact with Rats, put some extra time from home into list changes required and get back for the pre-season then i dont think the impact will be huge on the team but will be massively positive for Clarko.

We got you Clarko!

I am the same. I remember the game, can't remember who we were playing, but you met a Fitzroy supporter outside the ground and brought them in with you on ya membership. Another case of the Big Clubs, ie that Daphne clown at Richmond, looking after themselves only. No one wanted to North to be successful and it drove them insane that we might end up with sustained success and finally be able to swim in the big pool. Campaigners the lot of em.
I hate most of the other clubs with a passion.

I predicted that he would not coach us and was right bar a few weeks. But like many others I never stuck the boot in once. I don't believe he is racist and the stories I have heard about what was said reinforce that. Too many people want to make money out of this 5hitfight. This whole charade has been so poorly handled that whoever is responsible at AFL level for the mess should resign immediately. Clarko can't win - that's the issue here. It's just a total mess and no clear way forward now.

I don't know what will happen next, but I'm excited to hear about how you foresaw it.

Jackson may be the best journo in relations to the powerful hurting others in a sporting context.

I'm having trouble trying to find the right words. I too couldn't read it all. I believe what the ABC writes though. Clarkson and Fagan are finished I think. How could any of them have thought that sort of behaviour was okay?

Yeah I decided to step away from this thread until the whole thing was resolved one way or another as it was just becoming an echo chamber of negativity from posters with personal agendas.

I also think that any participation in a rushed " mediation " process will be considered as an admission of guilt by those pushing that agenda.
