We could ask but tbh I would just want to get the deal nailed rather than draw it out and squibble over ..
If I was a Sydney fan I wouldn’t be too happy with Papley and 5 for a perma-injured Daniher

It's surely going to be very difficult for either club to work on/prepare for any other trades until this is done, can't see it being a long drawn out thing.

Nah, you would be well within your rights to ask for 36 back. Mirrors other trades in previous years. Have held this position for a few weeks now. If you got Carlton's 9, and we got 9 and 14, then 36 comes back your way for sure. If we don't give up 36, that's a huge win for us.
Staying in line with Shiel, Treloar and Neale, should be the aim from both sides - which is what the aforementioned amounts to.
I hope you are kidding.
Two first rounders and an early second for TK? That's madness for a 25 year old who plays as untagged 3rd or 4th mid behind a mix of Danger, Ablett, Selwood, Duncan etc.
For that price I'd rather he went to Freo...
and I detest everything about that skidmark club.

If you think Kelly was playing behind Ablett and Duncan in Geelong’s midfield at any stage this year I’m not sure you saw much of Geelong.
Don't think he was playing behind selwwod either
