Scott saying the medical team are optimistic Holmes could play next week...

Im not sure you can risk taking a guy in with a hammy even with the medisub rule. Its not like an arm or a shoulder where you can jab him up and get him through..if it goes again thats it...so it will be a big call to risk taking him in..but for his sake i hope he's fit enough for it to be possible.

Just quickly on Selwood - I thought he looked dead and gone at the start of the year. Looked old, slow, fumbly and pretty much career over. But like a steam train slowly pulling out of the station, he's gained momentum and has built up a lot of inertia. Looks like he'll smash anything out of the way now. His work in tight is still exceptional. Just almost always makes the right choice.

Unfortunately believing what Scott says (even when I want to) is quite hard!

But I head that Max is also a little more optimistic after the game. It is purely on the scan in terms of whether it is a tear or not.

No ice on Holmes' hammy after the game, and he seemed in pretty good spirits. Pencil him in for Norm Smith I reckon.
