How does Joe Daniher, get a player rating of 5 (out of 10) for tonight:

Had Sam De Koning for company. Barely sighted in the first half then fluffed a set-shot opportunity at the start of the third term that went out of bounds on the full. Had to work hard up the ground to get his disposals, but simply wasn’t a threat close to goal. 5

SDK's headband would have got a higher score than him tonight!!!

Did Joe play? Thought he must have been at a baby shower or something

We've also got these score 🤔

23. Charlie Cameron
Had Jed Bews for company for most of the night. Blanketed in the first half then given a reprieve in the third term when he drew a holding free kick and nailed his first goal. Little impact outside of that. 4

30. Eric Hipwood

Manned up by Jack Henry. Dropped a simple chest mark in the second term that led directly to Gary Rohan’s first goal. Kicked two junk time goals. 5

31. Harris Andrews

Fought valiantly against Tom Hawkins all night, often holding up under severe pressure. Hawkins eventually got off the chain in the second half, but the result could’ve been worse if it wasn’t for Andrews’ efforts early. 6
(Is the "reviewer" aware that Hawkins could have kicked 4 or 5 first half goals if he put the right pair of boots on...His low goal tally in the first half wasn't due to Andrews)

Hawkins said he was speaking to Holmes on the bench and was not 100% sure how bad the Holmes hammy is and isn't gonna comment. If he was written off for next week, I assume he would have made a "we will put our arms around him as a club" kinda comment.

Plot thickens.

No I don't think there's even a morsel of hope. That mechanism of injury when he skipped, well, heart breaking.
At the end, when some boys got around him (SDK) Max shrugged his shoulders, and said, trying to be philosophical
"It happens" Of course, it will go against the media narrative this week, they'll be all over him.

-The finest lip reader ever to make the Grand Final ;) DO IT FOR MAX

Or it means its bad and not worth worrying about right now because season is over.
No player would ever risk that, if there was even 1 iota of a chance they could play. He was walking around and no noticeable limp. We'll find out Monday, but, I don't think we can write him off on the basis of what the vision has shown and what Scott himself has said.

Boys Boys Boys Girls Girls Girls….
Had to work tonight but had enough time to watch the game on a small TV set in Warrnambool.
Gotta say that was a clinical display I haven’t seen in years.
Love this Team Love this Town
Love the folks who rock up week in week out year in year out.
We front up never afraid of being knocked down never afraid of failure.
One more win boys One more win.
GiddyUp Catters.

Menegola is the most like for like swap as they both play the same position (wing) but you could put parfitt in the middle and move blitz to a wing or put moc in and move duncan back to the wing etc.

It might depend on opposition..sydney play a very stoppage based contested style so you probably favour the bigger body in menegola..collingwood are very much a lose stoppages but run and gun turnover team in which case you go for parfitt or oconnor for more pace across the ground.
Holmes seems to be all over the field affecting play. That will be hard to replace. I don't think we can find anyone with his potential to break forward.
I agree the Parfitt's game is not quite so mobile and not a like for like replacement. Would Menegola be ready to the bigtime after so long not playing?

The coaches will have their work cut out for them with maybe coming up with tweaks for Parfitt in. Your solution looks sound.

Anyone else wants a good laugh just head over to the Richmond board.

Poor dears are melting hard.....

They really are so f*cked in the head, loll

Everyone has to admire them when they're up, but not one bit of respect for other teams when they're dominating. Such a pathetic way to be
