Thanks mate
Keep them coming ;)

i noticed this just now, collingwood 02 (missed finals for 5 years) lost the GF

there's been a few times where a team has made a grand final who hadn't played finals (missed out finals for 4-5 seasons prior) sydney 96 , NM 74 however they all didnt win the flag.
only the crows 97 won a flag without finals experience, however their opponents st kilda also missed out finals for 4 years. so that doesnt count.:p

I actually just want to take this moment to extend a little bit of deserved credit to Dom Sheed.

I have been roasting him all season, and for the most part deservedly so. He looked, a lot of time, lazy, slow, disinterested and for a long time there was offering the team very little in terms of contribution.

Simpson rightly banished him back to the WAFL where i was sure he would remain for the rest of the year.

But, footy is a lot of the time about taking your opportunities and Gaffs brain fade opened the door for Dom.

Since then, he hasnt looked back. He has been contributing well and averaging 28 possessions and had given our midfield additional grunt and a harder edge.

I still have a big question mark on the fact he doesn't tackle despite playing as an inside midfielder, and this is something he must urgently improve.

But, for the most part, he has been very good since returning to our best 22, so lets hope he can keep it going for our biggest game of the year this weekend.

Is Dom, is good.
He accepts your apology.

And I told you all

Just been to training. You'll all be happy to know that howe trained fully, including the match simulation, and is raring to go. Moore and reid are no chance of coming in - Reid in fact played as a forward in the match simulation. Pies have the healthiest list they have had all year at the pointy end. Treloar looks ready to explode after 3 games back - grand final performer written all over him. Gov will get his ribs jabbed and play, his danger is a heavy knock causing the affected ribs to puncture his lung. For those you that remember 1989, Dipper played more than 3 quarters with broken ribs which punctured his lung, and he was carted off to hospital after collapsing immediately post match. A lot will depend on what gov's pain threshold is like - dipper's was extreme, and that's the only thing that got him through
You know all about Gov from Collingwood training?

Cool story bro

Duffield can eat a chubby. Really annoyed me to see that knob in our rooms after the prelim. Bloke should be blackbanned. May well have stiffed gaff for the GF with his sanctimonios shit.
eat-chubby-knob-black-stiff-gaff-shit...? (dig your lingo dude!)
whatever floats your boat...!

Ok I understand everyone is packing s*** over McGovern but you gotta realise with corky's you don't do any running for the first four or five days all that will do is increase the bleeding. I'm also wondering whether that is the mistake that Martin made with his injury in they tried to get in to run to quick too early. So long as Gov can run well on Saturday that's all that matters.
It doesn't run that far in a game anyway his main job is to intercept passes and get to contest and I don't think the injury will stop him doing that

Hmm, but the fire danger is moderate!...let's hope Masten doesn't burn the house down on Saturday?
Sorry Astro, hoping Masto does burn the house down, that's his job..playing his role then.

Edit; And I'm backing him in...not sure where he'll fit a premiers tattoo if we do, but that's his prob.

Liam Ryan to kick 6 goals, Kick the opening goal followed by 3-4 in third for Norm Smith. then straight to Jail after October hearing. Lock it in.
