How's the forecast, 26C and a chance of a shower, minimum of 16C.

Will be a bloody tough hit out and even tougher for whoever has to back it up.

Yeah, don't be understand the negativity here. Yeah we resigned ken early well let's wait and see how we go before completing losing our s**t maybe? Brisbane are easily beatable, we gotta beat good teams to win a Premiership so why can't we beat them at home? I see no reason why not.
Is it negativity, just because it doesn't align with delusion. Brisbane haven't lost at home this year and have demonstrated they have the wood on us. Spin it however you want, beating them will require an astonishing performance. I can see many, many reasons why we won't, and not many why we will. That's not negativity, that's realism.

My son pointed out to me today that this upcoming final at the Gabba is the first Port final we have missed together since the 2004 Grand Final ( I was o/s with work which broke his heart as an 8 year old - what a game to miss FFS).

Hopefully that's a sign.

He's likely to do absolutely nothing I don't rate him at all.
Its a harsh rating, he's performed well all year at SANFL level, has shown hardness, goal sense and ability to execute under pressure. He is no superstar, but he's a solid role player who is still young and has shown a truckload more than the similarly positioned McEntee. He could easily play a role for us for 3-4 years.

What do people think of lycetts game today? He was better than last week but he was absolutely putrid last week. Does he make our team better than if Hayes was playing? I think he probably comes in but Hayes could've made it a difficult call with a better game last week
Midday through the 3rd quarter, we had 18 hit outs to advantage, to Centrals 3.
Is sanfl, but is enough for Lycett to come in I expect.

They won't drop McEntee, they may drop Evans and I'd be fine with it.

I won't deny Evans has goal sense but I think everything else is sub par, it was a 9 possession three goal game last week one of which was pure ass. I think Fantasia is capable of more against better opposition.

With Dixon probably not available, are we more likely to
A) Bring back Marshall In for Evans or McEntee and revert back to our 3 tall setup or
B) Bring Marshall in for Lord and play a small forward line with 4 of Evans, Fantasia, McEntee, DBJ and Rioli playing

Orazio has played a sum total of 3 games this year.
He only played 1 last year.

Are we really pinning our hopes on this guy?

Evans kicked more goals in his last game than Flabtasia has kicked in the last two years.

Fantasia is the EXACT reason that we can use the sub rule properly.

Play him, he is quality. If he does ping a hamstring, then you sub out.

Out - Macantee, Boak , Jonas , Lord , Farrel
In - Fantasia , Narkle , Mackenzie , Dixon , Burgyonye
