Fantasia Is a risk, remember burton In the 2020 prelim. It was a gamble that didn’t pay off

Maybe as a sub but I don’t think he is versatile enough for that role. He really can only play small forward and that’s it.

It would take a few injuries to see us roll the dice on him. Frankie is in front and he will probably miss out too.

I might be the only on here that is actually for keeping McEntee in the team, he has pretty much played all season as a role player and they obviously rate him.

I don’t think he has done a huge amount wrong either.

I think we’ve got enough to deal with trying to manage our returning injured talls so I don’t think we need to mess around with our smalls too.

Potentially it comes down to Evans v McEntee but I’m sticking with McEntee.

I have nothing against McEntee ... He plays a role. But we are in finals, and McEntee even at his best, will not win in us the game - Fantasia could. Watching today's game, he changed the course of the game in about 5 minutes. When he has the ball, magic happens. He has played and trained solidly now for a good block of weeks. If we are serious about winning, then we play him!

Yeah, that unprofessional time waster with the body of a 15 year old who gets injured literally every other time he plays is exactly what we need to have a crack at the flag.

McEntee has played 20 games in a row and we've won 16 of them. He is playing his role within the team and there is no need to throw that out by taking a punt on some wildcard who will likely do nothing anyway.
McEntee is a player that is a liability in a finals series. If we win, his 6 disposals and 2 tackles look bottom barrel reasonable. If we lose, his 6 disposals and 2 tackles look exactly how they deserve to be looked at, like shit. Fantasia every single day of the week.

We brought in Fantasia in my opinion specifically to get us over the line in games like this. If he's fit he has to play. McEntee while an honest tryer is half the player Fantasia is at his peak. Yeah its been extremely frustrating watching him suffer injury after injury, unavailable for almost 2 years. But if he pulls up well after yesterday then he's just gotta be called up.
Brisbane would be looking at our side and I guarantee you if they had the choice they'd rather have McEntee out there than Fantasia.

What do people think of lycetts game today? He was better than last week but he was absolutely putrid last week. Does he make our team better than if Hayes was playing? I think he probably comes in but Hayes could've made it a difficult call with a better game last week
Much better performance today & he needs to come in imo. Another week of training b4 Sat night & he should be ready. He's way better than Hayes when fit.

You’re not the only one, McEntee stays.

No doubt the coaches would be considering bringing in Fantasia. My bet is they would be thinking of bringing him in for Lord though, which would be a huge mistake imo. We need to keep the structure from the entire season.

I can’t see how you bring Orazio in, he hasn’t played all year really at AFL pace let alone a final and you could be down a player within 5min.
It's how you weigh these things up, anyone could get injured in the first five minutes.

They should've tried to get a game into Orazio late in the minor round imo, however he's strung a few together in the SANFL now & he's a proven dangerous player at AFL level.

I just don't think it's a big gamble when you are talking about him in relation to spuds like Evans, McEntee etc.

Fantasia is probably the most polarising player on the Power list since Charlie Chaplin, 2 Dads and Salopek were leaking multiple goals, but he has more genuine talent than the 3 of them combined.

He would need to train the house down this week and show absolutely no signs of soreness, but if he does that he could be worth the risk against brisvegas and be that X factor wild card that can make a difference.

The Japanese Maglev train is the fastest in the world, using superconducting electromagnets to literally raise the train off the rails once it hits 150km/hr, and then propel it at over 500km/hr.

But even it can't move fast enough to escape the intense forward pressure of Jed McEntee.

Brisbane won't kick a goal next weekend.

McEntee ain't getting dropped.

People should stop fantasizing about that
To be fair, our coaches have showed the gumption to drop players appropriately this year, and it's what got us to where we are. Dropping McEntee is, like those decisions, the correct one, and should be done. Will it, is the question.

The worst part about the McEntee type selection is how easily teams exit our forward 50 at times. Richmond we're smashing us with their run off half back. Carlton destroyed us with their link off half back. So did the Crows. For all this talk of a high pressure forward line, it still remains one of the areas where we get exposed.

I'm actually coming around to the idea for the lol factor when the inevitable happens.

I can already hear Abbey Holmes shouting from the boundary line:

DARCE, I'M JUST WAITING FOR CONFIRMATION BUT I THINK ORAZIO HAS DONE HIS CALF, HAMSTRING AND QUAD AS HE WAS JOGGING ONTO THE GROUND

Don’t want to lose but tough trip at the Gabba and we can afford to roll the dice. I’d have Lycett, McKenzie, Marshall and Fantasia in.
I totally agree.

If you ask yourself who would you rather have 8 possessions McEntee or Fantasia then you have your answer.

DBJ plays a similar role to Jed, is having two very defensive forwards more important than having 2 potential match winners in Orazio and Willie?

This decision could be the difference between a home prelim or not.
