We seem to have a pretty settled line-up now.

It could be one of those rare "No Change" weeks.

I thought Nicoski did 2/5 of f all tonight and is due to be spelled in the back paddock with Butler being rotated in.

I'm in two minds about Nicoski. He played a fantastic game against the Saints 4 weeks ago. He was very poor against the Magpies, before being very good in patches against Port and Richmond.

He can be very damaging moving the ball forward, but his second efforts aren't there yet. In his defence, he is the guy in our team who suffered more than any other in tonight's conditions.

I think Nicoski might be marginally ahead of Selwood.

The question is: who is pressing for selection?

Realistically, there are 3 spots between Edwards, Selwood, Nicoski, Butler, LeCras, McConnell, Wooden, R. Jones, Graham and McDougall.

That's pretty much what it comes down to. We can only play 3 guys out of that group. That window will shrink to 1 spot once Sampi and Gardiner return.

still early to call a team, Melbourne might get a few injuries/suspensions playing collingwood on monday. So I'll wait for that. Also without WAFL this week, how can doogs, chipper and butler prove their case.

Surely if Edwards is rubbed out then McDougall would come in. Edwards was brought in as a key forward to replace Gardiner after all.....

No change as I cant see Edwards being suspended. Nothing in it.

INS ; R.JONES I think he as earn't a recall to the side he has been in great form in the WAFL , if he does not get a chance soon I think he should consider a new club , I think he is 25 now wouldn't want leave it any longer.
