I really don't see the logic of Esava going back to defense on a fleet footed team.

If they waltz through our press and can enter their forward 50 unhindered, it's already over.

Put DBJ up forward to pressure some kicks and hurt their running defenders the other way. Put Ratugolea back to take intercept marks.

Their “key” defenders consist of Serong (192cm), Sicily (189cm) and Scrimshaw (194cm). None of which are big and strong. If Dixon cannot take one bloody contested mark this week….

With all that said, Bulldogs had 3 monster forwards, all better than any of ours and they couldn’t do shit either.

All week I've thought you'll win. Took a bit of a hit seeing Dixon retained after watching how bad he was last week. But still think you'll get past them.
I doubt it, mate. They don't have the ticker.

Chunk can't move
Ratagolea can take a contested mark, but can't kick
Marshall will get KOed by a lettuce leaf
Georgiades is the only one who presents any danger.

I'm hopeful but think we won't function effectively until we sub out a tall forward (Charlie) and bring on Narkle to put some pressure on the rebounding of the Hawk's defenders. By that stage it may be too late.
Marshall has demonstrated class before and is a better forward than any of our talls when in top form. He's not a blood and guts type but thats what Dixon and Rat are picked for. We are taking a big gamble on Marshall getting into some form and not getting concussed but that is better odds than backing that McEntee can influence the game enough to help us win.

I’m quite curious to know how this game plays out tbh.

A young and up an coming Hawthorn side full of confidence after a final win against Bevo’s under achievers.

Or us, after being jolly rogered by Dads Army.

Honestly, defenders or forwards, it doesn’t matter. Winning the midfield is the only thing that will give us a chance. Just don’t get embarrassed like last week.

I see this line up and I think
Hinkley saying I dare you to sack me if we lose.

However

If Marshall get another concussion it would be 4 in 12 maths could this cost him his career
