bro Marshall is not playing in the prelimThe upside for us is that we are yet to see a dominant, breakout game from any of our gun midfielders. They all played decently on Thursday night, but we haven't seen JHF change the game like we know he can, we haven't seen Butters' usual creativity beyond a spurt here and there. They were all good on Thursday night without being massive standouts. Mitch would have got a huge amount of confidence out of that game and was huge for us. He's out best 'tall' forward at the moment. We need more from the Dixon and Marshall. I'm very nervous about taking Marshall into a prelim. There's huge risk, and decent upside I guess... I guess you have to shit or get off the pot at some point. It's just a concern with JHF and his cramps, Butters and his game against Geelong and Dixon being the walking dead.
I'd go Lachie Jones.Who is going to do a shut down job on Papely?

Possibly Bergman. I'd say Jones plays more up field with his run and gun but seems to intercept well... providing he doesn't fumble.Who is going to do a shut down job on Papely?
Bergman gets Heeney for me.Possibly Bergman. I'd say Jones plays more up field with his run and gun but seems to intercept well... providing he doesn't fumble.
A mile in the airDespite not kicking goals, I thought big Sav was pretty good

Presented well and can hoof it a mile when needed
Hopefully someone with a baseball bat will do the shutdown job on ' The Smear '.Who is going to do a shut down job on Papely?
Dude, I'm coming over with my seven year old daughter. My wife would not have been impressed!Petersham Inn
Heeney will be more midfield but you're right if he switches forward.Bergman gets Heeney for me.
I actually want Bergman to follow Heeney everywhere, but know he will only get him when he goes forward.Heeney will be more midfield but you're right if he switches forward.
I’d suggest isolating Rioli and Mitch in the F50 and clearing out the rest. Let the HFF and mids run towards their contest. SCG is small Blakey against Mitch would be nightmare scenario for SwansWhat are the genuine alternatives to Dixon, not many are mentioning Soldo but i'm thinking he would be a better option than Visentini and Lord, plus he is a premiership player so understands the pressure of these games. Or has he and the club already filed for divorce?
Agreed and Drew to Heeney.I'd put Bergman on Hayward.
Jones on Papley.
Just feels so crazy that a player ruled out for the season is so far ahead of schedule. Gotta be nervous about bringing him back this week. If we win we'd need him there the week after.
