I'd like to see a midfield option come in for NicNat and use some of the other talls to give Lycett a rest in the ruck. Horses for courses, and the Bulldogs aren't famed for their big man division so I don't see what adding a less mobile player adds for us other than a disruption in the forward line.

I think replacing NicNat's pressure is more important than his height at this point.

Ins: Barrass Vardy
Outs: Schofield Nic Nat

I think Lycett works better as a 1-2 punch and Vardy is more than capable at the top level to provide a chop out.

Waterman has more than established his B22 spot, there is a reason our forward line has been at its best with him kennedy and darling together, he provides great link up between D50 and F50.

Sheed and Ryan probably the only two out that could be best 22 come finals. But hutchings and venables keeping them out atm

Its very interesting seeing who can't perform when we travel. Its getting easier to see who they are and its the usual suspects...Masten, Waterman, Cripps, Venebles and Cole. On the issue of Venebles, this guy isn't AFL standard by a fair bit and its getting more obvious after we play him more and more. 3 of Those 5 get dropped this week for me and bring in Ryan, Allen and give Brander another shot.

?????

Did I watch a different game yesterday? Were you perhaps watching a WAFL game on video? I'm confused????

Or a grizzly reminder for him and his team mates that he has a catastrophic knee injury that will keep him from the game he loves potentially for the rest of his life.

Don’t think you can drop waterman. His work rate to run and provide is a great outlet, but it also drags away another tallish defender that would otherwise just zone off to be the third man up and jd and jjk.

Yeo rucked yesterday and has a great leap on him, just add sheed for Nic Nat

I have some reservations about Sheed after his form this year. He seems to have dropped a few brain cells, seems to always get caught and his disposal is average to say the least. Not sure we have anyone waiting in the WAFL that can be explosive as Nic at the stoppages but we have to start thinking of a succession plan for him right now.

I think Barass , Ryan and Vardy are the only potentials to force their way into this side. Cole and Duggan give us two hard as nails mongrels in defence.Cole doesnt stop for anybody or anything hes easily B22.Waterman is a gun! Venables is back in already because he is a gun.Hes got pace to burn,he tackles ferociously and above all else hes got goal sense.Pity we cant clone a Cripps/Ryan hybrid.I feel one of them wont make it.

How can anyone say unforced changes from yesterday? The whole team dug in at a ground that we have struggled at against an opponent we have traditionally struggled with everyone doing what they needed to do.

I'm still undecided on Cripps, I think he does as much good things as he does bad. When the **** did he become so fumbly?

I hope we play just the one ruck. It's working for every other team in the AFL just fine, so I'm not

NN's game time was something like 55%. This is so far from a full game that we had no choice but to play a 2nd full time ruck in our side. It robbed us of the flexibility of playing a Sheed or Petch or Ah Chee, but that's ok because of NN's influence at ground level and his aerial threat. If we play both Lycett and Vardy we can't afford to have them play 50% game time each, which means one of them is running through the middle (neither can) or more likely one is sitting in the forward line. With JK, JD and Waterman already there, do we want a 4th tall there?

Play Lycett solo, have Gov fulfill his lifelong ambition of backing up in the ruck, and bring in Sheed to give us another rotation through the middle.
