Stress fracture apparently.
Fair enough, I'd be stressed playing for the AFC too.

Stress fracture apparently.
How many weeks ago was the bye? He’s had a rest.Tell me, how many games had he played in the AFL prior to this season ?? Also, how many games did he play last year at all ??
It makes absolutely perfect sense, some here just don't want to see it because it means Sauce comes back in. I get that, I really do, but it doesn't mean a guy who is in his first full season of AFL footy doesn't need a rest.
I mean if you want to ignore his last 2 weeks then fine.
That's at least twice this year we have named an injured player as an emergency.Keath was the travelling emergency and publicly states to be available for selection in the case of a late withdrawal.
THAT is what ‘we all know’
Welcome to last year!
I'm looking forward to Hartigan on Ryan...Eagles could unleash mosquito fleet of five speedy small forwards - http://m.afl.com.au/news/2019-08-08...-mosquito-fleet-of-five-speedy-small-forwards
I wonder how much thought our selectors have given to what WCE are going to do against us..any chance our selections could take that into consideration?
Perhaps, but he was beaten by Andrew Philips..... and we all know ROB is far better than that. He was spanked by Marshall too. Again, no real shame in that but I would say hes coming to the end of a long season and needs a break. Thats not a problem, the problem is if he doesnt make an immediate return which given our history he wont. How many weeks ago was the bye? He’s had a rest.
If I remember correctly about 6 weeks ago he had a quiet couple of games and then hit form again, maybe he’s just had a couple of down weeks rather than being tired?
This is the perfect example of the ongoing contradiction that is happening on this board.Tell me, how many games had he played in the AFL prior to this season ?? Also, how many games did he play last year at all ??

I vanity follow the arguement that, we are going to lose to WCE so play the kids.
Aren't we then going to get belted, bring kids into get belted and then drop them because we got belted?
I suppose it will have to wait until 4.30 when we know the team.
It doesn't seem like this. This is the perfect example of the ongoing contradiction that is happening on this board.
We’ve been whinging in the past why Sauce didn’t get rested when he obviously looked sore/tired.
Now that it seems ROB is sore/tired, we chuck a fit as to why he’s being dropped/rested.
We’ve got 3 weeks to go and even if we do make finals there’s another week off.Perhaps, but he was beaten by Andrew Philips..... and we all know ROB is far better than that. He was spanked by Marshall too. Again, no real shame in that but I would say hes coming to the end of a long season and needs a break. It's his fourth season on the list. He should be physically ready to play a full AFL season just like every other player

This is all about getting Jacobs to 200.
Now that ROB is ruck it's all about resting
When Jacobs was ruck it was all about continuity
Whatever gets our oldest players on the park is the one we go with
What should have happened this week if ROB is rested was to just bring himmelberg in to ruck the game..at least he is mobile and will get around the groundCan't wait to watch Jacobs fail to jump at ruck contests and then plod around the ground at a snail's pace.
Oh yay Sauce is back!
Well a dip in form by a ruckman 2-3 weeks in a row (ROB), one would suspect he’s getting a bit tired/sore?It doesn't seem like this.
ROB being sore and tired is entirely the invention of Bigfooty crackpots.
