McInnis has been in blistering form all season for east perth . Whats the point of having him on our list if not for this situation .

Another fair call.

If say we do bring in Mclnnes we really need to use either him or Lycett forward as well.

To do this and not become too tall do we also consider giving say Waterman a rest to freshen up against Richmond.

So out: NN, Shuey, Waterman

In: McInnes, Ainsworth, Ah chee / Partington.

We replace Nic with a ruck/ forward. Replace Shuey and the taller Waterman with an inside mid and a half forward / mid.

Ainsworth is not plod!

In - Fmac, Ah Chee
Out - Shuey, NN

Those outs are like, worst case scenario stuff normally. Still think we are a shot though.

I think we only run two dedicated rucks because of the quality of those ruckmen.
Not sure we need more than Lycett against Lobb

Waterman wont be dropped he is in good form, acts as a good link and kicks goals.

Achee/Ainsworth for Shuey
Nic Nat - Mcinnes

Agreed. McInnes isnt a ruck he is a forward / ruck.

If we dont run McInnes in the ruck then who? Darling, McGovern?

Recall a quote from Paul Roos. If you have a problem dont create another trying to fix it.

Darling and McGovern are playing really well so dont change what they are doing.

Waterman is only 19, get him fresh for the Tigers game is smart especially if we are a tad tall and the Giants have alot of talls out and we just lost our best mid.

I hope we don't go down the McInnes route.
We play two rucks because we have two gun rucks who can have an impact at ground level. Keeping McInnes would just be a stubborn move.

Get two runners in for Shuey and get Waterman to pinch hit.

I would be happy with ah Chee and ainsworth

Not trying to be a negative nancy but what happens should Lycett get injured? Do we still need to go in with 2 rucks? Also for those in the know what sort of form has McInnus been in at at East Perth?

McInnes has been very good for EP.

missing all of our 1st midfield rotation - Nik Nat, Shuey and Sheed - danger game now if GWS get a few back. Simmo needs a magic hat and rabbit from somewhere.

That's why I want us to win this match against GWS so bad - to be able to say to the AFL - well FU - even with your help your sweethearts (GWS) couldn't get up & win!

I'd rest Waterman this week. Play Mcinnis at CHF when not rucking and he will have a strong impact. Darling seems to be doing a great job roaming further up the ground and I'd give him Watermans role this week. Mcinnis seems to be playing the same way NN and Lycett have been playing this season and should help out our mids if lose the taps.

Don't know whether Lycett is fit enough to ruck all day. Wouldn't want to stuff him up. Can't see Waterman pinch hitting with his limited size and experience. Probably hasn't even done it as a junior.

Mcinnes has to play. If he doesn't list management looks like a joke. If we aren't going to play him in his best form of his life when a ruck goes down and he's the only replacement ruck, then their was no point leaving him on the list.

No he doesn’t. We had Lycett and Naitanui coming back from year injuries. Completley fair to keep him in case both of them go down. No one could say Naitanui and Lycett were going to come back this good
