Eagles should appeal, but if he doesn't get cleared I think we play just one ruckman,
we only played 2 because we have good ones most clubs only play the one this year.

The cynic in me is thinking that it is a strange decision to justify without going to the possible real reason of the AFL looking after it's expansion team that was meant to be winning this season.
nothing surprises me with AFL after that 50yr GF lock-in..total cynic regarding Vic-centric moves now, eg- tigers fixtures.

Worst case scenario where Shuey, Naitanui, Sheed and Jetta all miss.

Out: Shuey, Naitanui
In: Ainsworth, Ah Chee

Darling to chop out in the ruck. Go small and quick to run, gun and stun.

look, watching it there was excessive force-something Nic has stepped up this season-but combined with pinning his arms
does make it dangerous...could result in a broken neck the way he was rolled over headfirst with all NN's weight on him.
Nic's on a mission, but he does need to temper that action, roll the guy...a missed game is tough, but a rest wouldn't hurt, be cherry ripe for Tigers! We'll miss his drive, but Scotts been good.
Pinned arms?

After the decision is overturned at tribunal, we should give Nic a rest anyway.

Pinned arms?
yeh, got that wrong, my bad! wrong angle..clearly wasn't pinned, but driven headfirst, he does bulldoze them
and nothing wrong with that if you can get away with it, which he didn't, or if you break someones neck?
there's no coming back from that...anyway Lycett should cover it..

There is a WAFL bye this weekend due to the WA v SA state game so no game for fringe players to push their case

Might mean Achee gets a look in despite being a touch underdone so that he still gets some game time under his belt

Looking east :(

Not a fan of bringing in another tall if Nic misses, Lycett is more than capable to solo ruck majority of the game.

If Nic gets off and GWS don't get players like Kelly back, i reckon we smash them around the ball. Hutchings goes to Shiel and Redden,Yeo,Gaff go head to head with Ward,Coniglio and Tarranto.

Ainsworth gets a write up in paper, looks possible for a gig very soon!
Darling said "the coaches had done a great job this season, preparing everyone to step up when required."

Its now or never for Fmac and he has been very good in the WAFL. Maybe bring him for Nic. Rest waterman and bring in an extra mid.
I would give McInnes a run. Don't see any logic in trying to make Darling the fill in ruckman. He's only 191 cm and is our most dangerous forward at the moment. I wouldn't do anything to disrupt him in his current role.
