I know it's early but the weather forecast indicates a fair bit of rain during next week's game on the Friday night  Hopefully it passes!
Yep far too early.

If Schofield isn't getting a contract next year i hope Gov is willing to part with 200k for Schofield to play another year.

Best list management comment of 2019.

Doubt Schofield isn’t given another year though.

Why would he take it though when he is only playing games every other week? I'd love to see him feature in our top 22, but MC seems to rate him or seems to believe he doesn't fit our structure out the back.

Which IMHO is dumb. Schofield locks down on his man and allows Barrass and Gov to "float" around the defence. He should play in every game this finals series.

No changes unless Nelson is concussed and then I think Duggan would come in (Rotham a chance but reckon we need a hard campaigner not another athletic marker).
The only interesting one for me would be if Allen is good to go. I could understand leaving Waterman in as he was very good, I could also understand switching him for Allen as I just think Allen is better. Will be a tough choice for the MC.

The Geelong lady in the office next door cracked the absolute s**ts with me when i asked who she thought would go to tomahawk next weekend. I said Schofield.
Why?

While I am not a fan of Nelson, I think both he and Hickey should be cut some slack seeing as it was there first final.

Duggan doesn’t look fit so I don’t see any value in him replacing Nelson.

I agree that Hickey’s form has been down in the past month but he offers more around the ground than Vardy, who has had a poor year.

I am not sure how badly injured Oscar Allen is but it would be nice to have him in the side, however, no one should be dropped from last night’s team.

If it is against cats:

Ins: Duggan Allen
Outs: Nelson (inj) Hickey

If it is against pies:

Ins: Duggan
Outs: Nelson (inj)

Think we can play allen second ruck against stanley
This almost sums it up for me.

OAllen has been very good this year. Good overhead, good below his knees, applies pressure and is a very smart footballer. Can't really not play him if fit.

Agree that against Geelong he could replace Hickey as Geelong are not a rucking midfield. Doing that against Brundy would be putting a lot of pressure on NN and be a risky move.

But against the Pies I differ from you in that he could replace Waterman. Unlike some of the Waterman haters on here, I actually think he's been pretty good. But OAllen is better. Replacing good with very good is no criticism on Waterman, more acknowledgement on how good Oscar has been.

Duggan for Nelson works with Hutch fit as the tagger. Or possibly Watson if we want that style?

If we play Geelong you would think Petch and Cameron come into strong consideration against a very slow Geelong side.
You could see a bunch of pacy smalls really hurt Geelong.

Geelong defend better against Taller types, but quick smalls struggle against.
