Stoked that Lienerts getting a game. Sad to see Bonner drop out.

Still feel we are a touch short
When your playing the Giants your always gunna be a touch short.
On a more serious note re Big Dix maybe Rucking will free him up to play more instinctive footy.
Choco on aa yesterday was pretty brutal on Charlie saying it's getting to the stage where he owes the club.
Bringing the ball to ground is not good enough for a big forward he's got to take marks AND kick goals.
2 weeks ago he's in the goal square leading straight out (no frigg'in pockets stuff) and mysteriously kicks 3 goals in 3 mins.

Matthew Lloyd said on Footy Classified a few weeks back that Charlie hasn't learnt or isn't good enough at getting separation
from his opponent. No-one questions his effort but maybe if he dialled back his intensity he might mark more and kick straighter.

Maybe it’s our chaos forward entry game-style. How many times do you see our forwards taking marks in the lead full stop.

It’s on the coaches if you ask me, we play to the pockets etc.... it’s all under instruction, defensive mindset and all...

Hey. Just interested in your thoughts on Robbie Gray playing one week after such a severe concussion. Of course he has passed all the tests etc... personally I wouldn’t be comfortable if it was one of our players coming back so soon. I hope he plays well. He’ll probably dominate as he normally does.
Got to say I agree with this ^ I hope nothing serious happens

The Giants changes are funny. The only team where a pick 14 is greeted with 'who' and can be replaced by a pick 5. :D

Well yeah
But also in our back six tomorrow is Sam Reid who was rookie listed as a DFA from the Budogs and has since been delisted twice by us. Adam Kennedy who was passed over in his draft year as well.

Hey don't ruin the joke :p

So thinking ahead re changes..... We seem to keep trying the same thing with the same results....... (typical Ken administration), would it be worth using Dixon in the ruck more and Ryder down forward more as he is a great kick for goal and athletic. I know they won't do that but I feel the coaches are very good at banging their head against a brick wall only to get shitty when it doesn't work week after week. Maybe we need to change structurally more our forward line. Or is the problem Ryder can't run up and down the pitch as quick as Dixon defending?

Don't feel comfortable at all about it, but our club does have a pretty strong history of not risking players. Wish he was having at least one week off.
