I just love the fact that Simmo has "outed*" some of the players publicly for them to lift their game. Unlike the days of old, where it was all rainbows and lollipops in the press, but on-filed it was a fricken' rabble!

*Outed is not the right word, as he has been a bit more subtle than that, but the effect is the same!

I'm disappointed that Sheps out but pretty happy with the 5 changes and coaches thinking. Looks like Sinclair will be permanent forward.
Has Sheps been dropped for being too attacking, a la Bennell?

I do like how Simpson is having a look at the whole list, though. Really hope Smith gets a full game up front.

Is there such a thing as being too attacking?

I would have thought that as a back, if you backed yourself to win the ball, this would have only been a good thing

I think no matter what your opinion is on Smith its definitely time to have another look at him. I would like to see a full game as well maybe half forward for a while if were playing all these bigs with Shep out though may spend more time there. I dont want Sheed to be sub either!

Butler has performed well as Sub a couple of times.
Good choice.
I don't think Butler is an amazing sub- just purely on the fact I like real impact/action players as a sub but he has done well ultra reliable and cant fault his performances as sub this year. We all want to see the young guys get good game time so could be another logical choice.

Nicnat the super sub?

Can't decide if I'm for or against it... When he's 'on', not a chance, but he hasn't been consistent year, our finals chances are gone, and he would be one of the few players on our list that would actually have impact as a sub. It also gives guys like Lycett and Sinclair a chance to ruck at AFL level.

Definitely could be a good option considering how Simpson has said they were trying to get Natanui to the bye. If his body is still a little rusty or getting sore makes sense, he always plays his best in the 1st quarter, that impact in the last quarter would be great to watch

I'm not entirely sure how we are going to match up on Zorko, Green, and Bewick, we are going to be badly exposed for pace in the backline. They will flood our forwardline and rely in speed forward into space. Brings back memories of Adam Selwood chasing Yarran.

I hope i'm wrong.
