I'm disappointed that Sheps out but pretty happy with the 5 changes and coaches thinking. Looks like Sinclair will be permanent forward.

Guess we can pencil in Priddis, Hutchings and co for 300 games.

Has Sheps been dropped for being too attacking, a la Bennell?I'm disappointed that Sheps out but pretty happy with the 5 changes and coaches thinking. Looks like Sinclair will be permanent forward.
Is there such a thing as being too attacking?Has Sheps been dropped for being too attacking, a la Bennell?
I do like how Simpson is having a look at the whole list, though. Really hope Smith gets a full game up front.
Sure has, but I just don't like to see an up and coming player who has been pretty good all year get "rested".Shep has copped a few knocks this year.
All four rucks on the plane.

I would have thought that as a back, if you backed yourself to win the ball, this would have only been a good thing
Is that soccer?See David Luiz for Brazil.
He must be unless like Thorne89 is saying could be similar to the Bennell droppingCould be sore.
Is that soccer?
I think no matter what your opinion is on Smith its definitely time to have another look at him. I would like to see a full game as well maybe half forward for a while if were playing all these bigs with Shep out though may spend more time there. I dont want Sheed to be sub either!Has Sheps been dropped for being too attacking, a la Bennell?

Butler has performed well as Sub a couple of times.https://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/sport/afl/a/24430029/eagles-ring-changes-for-lions-clash/
Maybe Butler subs again to give Sheed and Tunbridge more game time?
complacency and laziness from Luiz, embarrassing!See David Luiz for Brazil.
I don't think Butler is an amazing sub- just purely on the fact I like real impact/action players as a sub but he has done well ultra reliable and cant fault his performances as sub this year. We all want to see the young guys get good game time so could be another logical choice.Butler has performed well as Sub a couple of times.
Good choice.

"Rucks on a plane"
Hollywood sequels just keep getting worse and worse
Definitely could be a good option considering how Simpson has said they were trying to get Natanui to the bye. If his body is still a little rusty or getting sore makes sense, he always plays his best in the 1st quarter, that impact in the last quarter would be great to watchNicnat the super sub?

Can't decide if I'm for or against it... When he's 'on', not a chance, but he hasn't been consistent year, our finals chances are gone, and he would be one of the few players on our list that would actually have impact as a sub. It also gives guys like Lycett and Sinclair a chance to ruck at AFL level.
Smith won't (or shouldn't) be playing in the backline though.Smith, McKenzie, Brennan and Schofield all have good pace
