Richmond likely to be a bit fatigued from travelling this week which may work in our favour.

So they'll only win by 86.

All I ask is for the guys with some sort of future potential be played in the right position to get experience. I’m talking Culley And Ginbey (if fit) in the midfield full time.

Screw the score line, these are the little wins we need to take. I don’t care if Petch lines up at full back.

In fact the more opposition goals the better, more centre bounce experience for the ones that have some hope.

Shuey addressed midfield group after Saturday's performance basically said it wasn't good enough and such a performance is unacceptable etc etc .
Tolerance only last so long in footy midfield players need to stand up now ....
Might be start of the change and Shuey with coaching credentials.

Senior players should pull their heads in - they're always injured and unfit. They have plenty of time for media appearances and doing commercials though. They should be banned from paid media util they string some games together. Shits me seeing NicNat/Yeo etc doing ads - who are they again? Should say former eagles player.

Shuey using his credits to rip into others is a bit uncalled for…

Hopefully someone said if he did the right thing and retired last year we might have had a fit captain and another midfielder who is fit to pick from.

No just saying it's an unacceptable performance ( 108 point loss ) .
Shuey has offered to step down in 2022 and now 2023 hardly his fault . The midfield group need to step up at least Shuey is giving them some direction and what the club wants to see going forward .
Helpful advice .

A shame our injury list is huge and we look fatigued as hell, we have three winnable games up next with a healthy squad (Richmond, Suns at home, Hawthorn) and they all look like certain losses right now.
If you take out the actual unluckey injuries (ie the collision ones) and put them on the field, we would likely have beaten Freo and may be a chance for 2 out of these 3. Instead we'll probably lose all 3.

Luck always plays its part in footy. We're having a bad run now, but it'll swing around soon enough.

Out: SPS (inj/susp), Bazzo (sub, injured), Ginbey (to sub), O’Neill (ribs?)
In: Jamieson, Sheed, Trew

Backs: Barrass, Rotham, Hurn, Witherden, Duggan, Foley, Jones
Mids: Kelly, Sheed, Culley, Clark, Gaff, Hunt
Rucks: Williams, Jamieson
Forwards: Allen, Darling, Waterman, Petch, West, Trew, Edwards
Sub: Ginbey
Emergencies: O’Neill (travelling/managed), Barnett, Dewar

Jamieson to give Williams a bit of a break, also he’s the only healthy body left. Waterman to play permanent forward in SPS’s absence. Shame it’s looking like being wet. Culley back to the midfield please.

Sheed and Trew in for Ginbey who needs a break and O’Neill who apparently has sore ribs? One of them can be the sub and one can be the travelling emergency, depending on whoever needs more of a rest.

I’m assuming Hough isn’t back this week if he didn’t train today. I’m also assuming Sheed is back since he did train.

Bad as Richmond have been, we are much, much worse.

A the 'G'? If Richmond don't win this by 100 I'm taking it as a moral victory.

Richmond have only scored more than 100 (108 vs Adelaide) once this year and only put up 48 against the mighty Gold Coast, so to win by 100 they'll need to throw the form book out the window.

So it's certain they'll do it against us this weekend.
