Great move by the AFL to schedule a Friday night match at the MCG less than 48 hours after this. Should be playing at home since Freo have a bye anyway!

i understand how ppl are frustrated with yeo playing at the back. me too to an extent, but i think simmo does that on purpose sometimes to pressure opposition mids and confuse them, mind you yeo dashing from half back is always a pleasure to watch too. he is a big boy and shrugs off tackles hence why i think simmo gives him spell there at times. ideally him in middle would be better, not too sure if he has the tank yet to be in middle full time.hence the sort of half bank with licence to be a winger role he has at this time. he is still work in progress in eyes of Simmo IMO.

Playing in the back line also allows him to press up and sit outside our 50m arc for the big grab and rebound 50. If he was playing forward or in the midfield he'd be wasted inside 50 in the congestion.
Against Essendon he spent the entire game playing forward and midfield.

I've actually seen Hurn do something similar, and maybe a few others. Though Yeo looks like he makes the sharpest changes in direction.
Pretty funny how low our boner threshold for a bit of run-and-carry has become in recent years...
