I want some of what you are on.:D

I fear this game, they are playing well, hope I am wrong but we may drop this one.

I originally predicted five wins for the year.:(

Then I expected us to lose most of the seven we’ve just won.

Now I’m throwing caution to the wind. I honestly think we’re a top four side, if not top two. Improbable it may be but most of the opposition teams are not that good this year.

With the possible exception of Geelong…

I actually thought we should make 8 or 9 as I thought our list was still pretty good.

I just fear Essendon and given most of my family support them, don't like answering their calls after a game.

WHAT WE LIKE ABOUT ESSENDON

13.11 (89) to 5.11 (41)

THE GAME

There are 2 broad groups of Collingwood supporters: those who hate Carlton the most and those who hate Essendon the most

Both are noble dispositions

This week we’ll witness tear-streaked Bomber Kiddies with their Gnashing Grannies

Throw in their coterie of Corporate Toadies and they have an arrogant, horrible fanbase

Maynard will be on Naicos watch: expect anything from Terry Daniher invading the ground to try and king hit him to Danksy loitering in the tunnel with a syringe

Whatever it takes – dickheads

This is a fragile Essendon team, incapable of performing until their season is lame duck

We have everything to play for, finals beckon, and it’s not nearly 7,000 days since we won one

Jamie gives a rat’s about every contest and will go on the rampage this week

Pendles is hungry for more flags and has Gnome Harvey's record in sight

And Johnny Noble would take a bullet for you then turn up the next day to help build your patio

Good on us for refusing to bottom out

9 IN A ROW AND IN THE TOP 4

Collingwood by 64 points
Can I suggest Rambeau, DC and Billy Elliott for the team sheet?

Before you guys get too confident about this game, the Bombers are on fire at the moment. They beat Sydney, beat Brisbane in Brisbane, and demolished the Suns. If you compare our recent form with their recent form, they have us covered.

I believe it’s a very touch and go game, ladder positions are irrelevant. However, the Brisbane team ess beat had 12 players out for H & S protocols. It was basically west coast earlier in the year, so I wouldn’t be using that example. I do believe ess are better than their ladder position however and on form, ours flatters us a little. The upside is they don’t have two genuine KPf to stretch us. Geel, Carlton etc are the ones that concern me with only Moore in the team however our back 6 have held up well considering

I would be answering and letting them know Ginni kicked a bag, won a medal and played his roll in the four points, whilst we walked away with bragging rights and another ANZAC Day win.

……………..I might also bring up the year 1990 but that’s just me.

should be another opportunity tomorrow, Pies by enough imho

If you compare our players with theirs, we have them covered.

Absolutely no excuse for losing this game.

Don’t fret people. What will be will be
I wouldn't even think about winning or losing if I didn't have to wade through all the prophecies of doom in here. I'll give the result more consideration as the game unfolds before me tomorrow. Until then it's all just speculation mingled with an element of fear. But they had better not lose.

Real danger game for us.

All games are danger games and wouldn't life be boring if they weren't?

If the Bombers beat us it will give their season, which so far has been an exercise in futility, purpose.

I hate that idea, hope we fn kill them. If for no other reason, to validate their shyteness.

They beat the Lions VFL team by a kick. Context please. We played GC at Metricon in the wet. I'm not saying they aren't playing well or won't be tough but stats don't give the full picture.
Even the constant references to our close wins annoy me. We massacred the Giants everywhere Bar the scoreboard and a couple of atrocious umpiring decisions

We were all over Carlton and Melbourne for most of both games and they were both closer than they should have been with five minutes remaining.

You could argue we are ready for a breakout four quarter effort and comfortable win.
