MSD tomorrow.

My two preferences are either of these two:

Jack Hutchinson - Collingwood VFL.

190 cm 23 years of age: High flying goal kicking half forward, with very sticky fingers.

Luke Beecken - Woodville West Torrens.

184 cm 80 kg 23 yers of age: Dashing run and carry defender with good foot skills.

Will be interesting to see if Richmond take a tall and let Hutchinson slide to pick three, because if they let him slide, we will be surely tempted.

You don’t like Hopkins? Do you think there’s any chance of Beecken displacing say Cole?

If we thought Maric could transition to HBF I’d be comfortable with Hutchinson but based on his forward contested work I think he’s got a long way to go to become a defender.

No revelations. Will see out his contract and wants to win a flag. But hopefully puts an end to all the trading for him this year talk. End of next year is when we chat with The Chad.

A year and a half is 'plenty of time', right?

He’s not going to say anything publicly and piss off Sydney so a pretty standard response by Warner ..

Exactly. Toe the line, long term girlfriend from Perth, her family from Perth, his family from Perth, little brother not getting a regular game, both OOC end of next year in a team whose salary cap will be bursting at the seams when he’s due for his big pay day.

We’ll be through most of the s**t by 2026, will be on the rise with what will be close to the best young midfield in the competition. The absence of a statement declaring he wants to commit long term to the Swans is more telling than any of the cliches he rolled out in that article.

Is it true still liam baker to west coast eagles or is he going to freo wats happening there

I think we're on the clock with Harley. We're going to have to put some talent around him to make him want to stay. The Chad would have to be priority as the best WA mid out who'd have instant impact instead of waiting for a kid to develop. Harley looked pissed off last week, especially when Kelly ignored him who should have given it back to Reid and then shepherded him. The barge through goal he kicked was him cracking the shits. They need to make some hard calls on veterans, create some cap space and get aggressive.

Hammer reckons we might grab Murdoch? to replace Long. Was due to win the Sandover (beating Hammer) until he got injured last year apparently.

Brayshaw was also adamant that the Eagles were going to split pick 1 last year and not take Reid

Grain of salt with what he says

Haha, think you're reading too much in to it. Most player's are pissed when they get burned and their team is getting slaughtered. Just last week he looked the happiest man on earth

If Harley makes a decision of leaving a club because he was burnt by Kelly in one game, then **** him.

You dont leave a career because of a shit day, you leave when you continuously have a shit days and nothing is changing.

This year we have probably exceeded expectations, and things are tracking in the right way. We are supporting him, allowing him to visit family in season, having his mate and I am sure mates join him. I dont see any reason why Harley would want to leave.

There is a few kids coming along with him and he is being mentored by some decent champs that will leave him for better for the experience.

Add in FOS/Draper + Warner 2025, with two more years of Ginbey, Hewett and Reid - By then, Finals, crowds consistently 50k + and the arrogance to call walk around team because we shit on Freo every season again. I think it will be very hard for him to leave.

Some videos with various opinions on tomorrow night's MSD prospects:

10:22 for you on the second video eaglevision

Hopkins and McLachlan back to back with a mention of Travaglia in the middle, doesn’t get much better than that. You’re a good man eaglespremiers, I don’t care what anyone else says.

Q1 vs Gippsland was indeed excellent if anyone wants a quick look at what Hopkins brings.
