What a beautiful video....what an extraordinary team

One of my favourite bits of footage since i saw it on gf day was selwoods massive smile and screaming at hawkins about winning....love that footage. Think im getting a bit teary actually.

3:45 at the video is that part.

Great effort on the video mate...love it.

Finally finished the third installment of my 2011 finals highlights.

Chose the music about two months back before it was played everywhere, so it's unfortunately a bit boring now. Couldn't be bothered changing it as I timed the opening scenes to it.

Great highlights package! Best I've seen of the 2011 GF.

Here's a video I did of Stevie J and his recent finals campaign.
Sorry about the slight jitter from time to time in some scenes, unfortunately mp4 video is not the most desirable format to edit and my conversions didn't work so hopefully the video is fine enough.

My favourite player & his performances in this year's finals has elevated his status to legendary!
The amount of times he's the player involved starting the eventual goal or the player on the receiving end is pretty impressive....I think he's amongst the top 5 in the AFL for goal assists isn't he? (would have to be up there).
But anyways, this sorta highlights why he's one of the most valuable players at the cattery.

Enjoy Cat fans ;)

Can't get the first video to work, which is a shame because the second video was amazing!

Thanks bobbycatsfanme for the StevieJ highlights. And to think that the wonder coach was going to trade him at the end of 06!. No wonder he was somewhat p***d off and had a xmas drink that year.
Thanks to all of the others for the highlights. Great work.

thanks Sicko ;)

I'm not sure about the banner if anyone decided to bring it into the stadium though as the feral's would have committed the homicide prior to the long walk to the G and the attorneys would get them off for simply pleading insanity (no pleading required either)

Haven't seen this posted, but I came across this when my computer was having a hissy fit before and wouldn't let me log into facebook or bigfooty, but let me onto youtube.

And for those interested, here's grumble bum Mick's press conference as well:

thanks Fox;)

I somewhat despise the Mick Malthouse press conference...I dunno if it's just a built up bitterness after a few emotional defeats by Collingwood in recent years or whether it's attitude etc but listening to his comments just churns in the stomach and makes me think he's one of the worst bad sports in league.
Some of his quotes in describing why they weren't good enough are strange.
He also fails to acknowledge just how good Geelong were and goes on to throw up excuses after excuses:confused:

"I know personally it was a very taxing year, perhaps because I coached the Australian side in Ireland, everything was rushed, Swanny was part of that, Goldsack was part of that"

"Daisy got 2 weeks when in fact he did miss 4"

He missed 2 matches plus 1 week as Collingwood earned the right to get the weeks rest on rout to the preliminary final Mick!

"Heath Shaw showed a massive amount of courage to play what turned out to be 3 games on the back of 8 games out"

ahh Heath Shaw did his job on the day and also contributed with 22 disposals, 7 marks, 4 tackles and was one of the better defenders on the day Mick

Wonder if Scott may have mentioned similar quotes had Geelong lost?

"Selwood's 4 week suspension really hurt his overall momentum going into finals"

"Corey just couldn't find the match fitness needed after returning from a 6 week break and jumping straight into the prelim"

"Chapman's interrupted pre-season was no excuse but he just wasn't as crisp as the Chappy we have all come to love"

"Christensen, Duncan, Menzel and to a lesser extent Taylor Hunt were all fantastic and did their jobs well but we just couldn't find the replacement for Gary Ablett when the game was really on the line and the times Gary in the past would create that spark or individual brilliance"

"The loss of Vardy, Menzel and Byrnes throughout certain stages of the season were eventually greater than expected as the burden for our lesser talented players became greater than usual, especially in a final"

"Johnson was absolutely terrific today, no doubt's about it. He did however start to tire after receiving another injection in his knee, the doctors said he was all good to go but he just wasn't as crisp as he has been"

:D

really dislike Malthouse and his comments on football and it's unfortunate he's involved in commentary this season....he should piss off to England and focus on Manchester United in some capacity as he seems to liken that game to ours

A Trilogy of Grand Final Sirens

Upon digging around some old HDDs, I came across some video of the 2007 Grand Final that I thought I had lost. Uploaded it to youtube to finish of my "trilogy" of Grand Final sirens finally. Unfortunately, back in 2007 I had a fairly crap phone, so the quality is horrible. So I thought I would share them with you, and hopefully stir up some nostalgia.

Hopefully there will be more to add to it in the future. Does anyone else have any similar videos? I always enjoy the view from the crowd. Gives a different perspective on things.
