I know it may have looked out of bounds because people may have used the curved boundary line further around as a reference however the whole ball has to be over the whole line and it wasn't as proven below.

Proved what? Its a 2D picture. You have tried to add depth to it... but you cant... because its 2D. The ball is in his left hand, but your line connects to the right side of his shadow. I would say your line should be dissecting the boundary further up the picture. But... you know... 2D picture and all.

Your line is totally wrong and proves nothing.

I've seen some criticism of Yeo over the last couple weeks but I think people forget that he's basically a first year midfielder. Sure, he played a little there on and off last year but for all intents and purposes, he's a first year midfielder (hell, even this year he's been spending plenty of time in other areas too), which means he's gonna be inconsistent at times. He's still a couple years away from the sort of consistency that other more experienced mids would have.

He also competed exceptionally well in the ruck once McGovern limped off. He's our go to man, can play any position.

Can you do some lines on this picture and prove to us why Gold Coasts goals are not straight?

For an added bonus can you tell me if the Saints supporters hands are over the fence or behind it?

I don't know what you think you are proving by drawing a line onto the photo, but that still looks out to me. The ball is curved as well, you have drawn the line as if it is not.

Dunno why, I'm still feeling this loss, and normally I move on pretty quick. Is it because they are the barometer and we fell short? Is it because we should have won? Is it because we now know even with just Naita in we probably would have them covered and its masked as hope for the finals? Dunno, but it feels shit and I've been a grumpy campaigner all day.

Weird, it's the opposite for me. This is the first loss that I've been ok with for a while. The Freo, Norf, and GC games were much worse.

I thought the boys did very well to be in the game all night and in control for parts.

I think the loss of Sinclair has also been understated, not because I think he's a great player but because it really messed with our structures. It meant we had to pinch hit with the Gov forcing us to re-jig our defence throughout the night. Not sure what our other options were though - McInnes would've been very handy last night.

I don't understand the hate for Schofield on here. I thought he was stellar for you in breaking down some of our forward thrusts. One of your most important defenders.

Agree the North loss was horrendous as we dominated the game and could not finish. In the 3rd quarter the hawks were pressing and we held up don't worry we will be good. Give McGovern a rest till the finals no choice we cannot bring him back half ready

Dissappointingly enough, it's STILL not out if the umpire doesn't call it out. Bit like sirengate. If the ump doesn't hear it and blow the whistle then it didn't happen. Our game plays to a whistle, no teams fault if those blowing it (or not blowing it in this case) make horrendous decisions sometimes.

The AFL haven't even mastered high def cameras in the goal posts. Boundary line tech is still a century away.
Can't some company produce an entirely new goal post, wire going up through the centre of it and cameras recessed into it everywhere we deem necessary?
Feed from the wires directly or routed to the control room.

Also have to take into account the ball isn't directly 90 degrees to the line and is pointing goalside (inwards in the picture).
Have you seen the movie Tron? ;)

McGinnity puts us 4 goals up in the third quarter and we'd have won imo. Still feeling disappointed even now.

Oddly enough according to a former coach you'd be wrong. On ABC radio on the way home I heard Ken Judge being asked might the result have been different if Naitanui had played. He gave an unequivical "no". And his reasoning? That because Hawthorn are an elite clearance side it wouldn't have mattered if Naitanui was dominating the ruck, they'd simply would have fed off him and therefore whether Naitanui had played or not was irrelevant. On that basis we should be thankful we dismissed him as coach years ago.

While Lycett performed manfully there were none of the clean taps to players at full flight that have formed the basis of many of our wins this year. Naitanui would have had a field day against McEvoy and Cegler who are nowhere near the top echelon of ruckmen.

Never listen to anything that bitter loser says.

I'm grumpier at some of the reaction to the loss moreso than the loss itself. Have definitely been on a short fuse

What's got me grumpier is no Le Cras, no McGovern and potentially no Nic Nat probably hands those purple ****s another derby win.
