Yep… bullet like 45m pass on his non preferred.

I’ve been watching him in the SANFL all year.. and thinking “meh… he’s ok.. flash of brilliance here and there but not sure he’s gonna make it”..

Wrong!..

he may be one of these bloke that just looks a bit meh at the sanfl level but just really steps up at AFL level.. and its strange that this is actually a thing.. you’d expect that it would always be the other way around.

his field kicking is actually bloody good on both feet.. he’s as strong as an ox, much like murray, and like murray he lays punishingly hard tackles.. really pissed a couple of lions players off last night by hammering them..

Bock used to be like this.

He'd play in sanfl for the Eagles and be just ok.

In the afl he would really step up.

I've been browsing the thread for Bearded Clam 's comments on Keays .......he must be ill, cause I'm sure he'd want to post an apology, given another good Keays game

Did I hear the commentators say, Keays is one of our most important forwards .....and no BRIS player could go with his gut running ? .......now tell me that's not a weapon in Finals

Anyway, BC is probably going to start up an apology thread .....I'm happy to wait

He is not a ruckman's bootlace at AFL level, not now, not ever.

That said, even Ottens got to a reasonable ruck level .....but he was 28-29 YO at GEEL

Soft Rucks always struggle against the bulls

Millera has really turned the corner, rusty early in the season but the back half he has been a serious contributor and playing like the player we always wanted him to be.
Fancy the lunacy of trying to persistently play Milera at HF .....it took away all his weapons

Aren’t we the best 11th placed team ever?
We are a really really good 11th placed team.
Do you remember when RICH was 17th on the ladder .....and Hardwick stressing at an after match loss presser, that he had a very very good list

Sometimes, those at training & in the changerooms, can see the potential B4 it's realised to supporters

For the fifth consecutive year our sucking has proved that we're a dynasty in waiting

Wouldn't mind next year trying Nank in the centre bounce rotation and build his tank up over off season.

He looked very clean and composed when allowed to have a brief CBA or two.
2024 report - Nanks Tank Stank

Bad: what’s with commentators calling Schoenberg “Soligo” all the time. Happened alot during the call yesterday and even on the Round So Far on the AFL site Kornes does it. It’s not that hard…
Apparently Chayce Jones got a CBA yesterday (according to CBA website)

You noticed they stopped talking about him in the fourth?

It's because he disappeared from the game.

Do you think Rachele, Pedlar, Schoenberg and Soligo are career forward pocket/wing players? I don't know how well that group will develop but it could not be clearer that the club thinks those guys are the future of the midfield. They aren't in the side because they think they are the best possible options in the positions in which they are spending most of their time.

I think we've pushed those players to the fringes of the team and often out of it entirely to accommodate Dad's Army, and we're still not going to make finals. Worst of both worlds.

Did you miss that Rachelle played sub to accommodate Rory Sloane's momentum turning first quarter?

Nank had some real quality moments like night and is a very good decision maker and kick , we are building a team that has a few of these

Also finds time in congestion and has some instinctive tricks
Yeah, problem is the dickhead selectors will forget this over the off season and it’ll take him until half way through next year to get back in the team.

Ala Worrell.

Fans are legit bragging about our 1 from five in non showdown match ups against Collingwood, Brisbane, Melbourne because we got to honourable loss status. Loser energy just wafts around this club like a stench.

We beat Melbourne in 2021. This isn't even sn improvement.

I think with Keane, we could all see the potential from the first games he played in the pre-season. It was bloody obvious to all.

That's why it's so frustrating to see that he's only just gotten the opportunity.
To be fair Butts and Murray were our 1st pick defenders

But earlier injuries ( which they both played with ) could have meant an earlier debut for sure

But I think the Burgess play through pain philosophy dictated selection

Or there is this - clap clap , clap clap clap

This is a side that I really enjoy supporting. They play genuine attacking footy with real endeavour. It's disappointing when they lose, but I enjoy what they're trying to do.

Constantly losing games because senior players won't take responsibility to execute the skill of goal kicking is more fun to some than others I suppose.

Based on recent form yes
