I'm not happy we lost. I don't care for any of this "honourable loss" BS. We lost because we weren't good enough. We can't accept that effort as good enough and "honourable", we need to ******* get better
I never said it was honourable, but Brisbane haven’t lost there all season, it’s tough to win. I prefer to be glass half full and understand that we a long way ahead of where I thought we would be this season. Only need to win 2 or 3 of these games next year and we can make top 4, it’s nearly all there.

Rubbish. Better goalkicking and we win. Had the chances, ran the game out and as late as 20 seconds to go were in a position to get a result.

That crouch tackle towards the end one handed highlights how strong he is. Great inside mid to complement Dawson with the addition of our yongens rolling through next year. He’s not done. Sorry if you think he is.

Crouch can stay, Sloane simply has to go.

Coming within a kick of three of the top 4 teams away from home, and beating the other top 4 team twice is well ahead of schedule for the experience level of this squad, particularly with injuries. Overall a positive year and we need to be a finals team next season.

People said that last year when we lost some close ones

It doesn't matter that we've botched a season which where finals were right there for the taking, because we didn't think it would be there three months ago.

Do we get the draft pick we expected as well?

No one cares about honorable losses.
Everyone says we can’t play away from home, which is true. 4pts from how many games?
Yes, because teams outside Vic have done so well against Melbourne, Collingwood and Brisbane away from him this year… the bad losses are those against GWS and GC, win those and we sit top 6.

Better goal kicking and we win is exactly what I'm saying. It's being not good enough and needing to improve

Apart from five minutes of Charlie Cameron carnage, our backline was very good today.

Daniher and Hipwood could have easily dominated today.

Daniher's only contribution came from a dodgy free kick.

Good
Schoenberg kicking I50
Worrell leading the D50 unit
Keane's willingness to play attacking footy (and ability to pull it off most times)
Rachele active once he was on
McAdams first 3 quarters
Crouch in close still fantastic
Some of Nankervis's kicking is great

Bad
Senior players seemingly finding every opportunity to let us down.

A lot to like, but * me that was frustrating. Lions literally clinging on for dear life and we couldb't put the stake through them./
We crowded our F50 so much at the end there. Gifted them repeat stoppage after repeat stoppage.

Clear it out boys. Create some space

Some hard markers on this board, the lad's gave their all and came up one kick short against a genuine Premiership contender on their home deck with a very inexperienced backline against one of the most dangerous if not the most dangerous forward set ups in the AFL. One ball bounced the other way and we win the game.

That tackle alone is what should make us sign him up. Enormous

Thilthorpe really disappointed tonight. Meek in ruck and at the high ball. Back to the reserves for you
Fog was worse.

Towelled up by a journeyman in Lester.
