If they aren’t givingJones a run thru there no way Hinge gets a run
That seems counter productive but at the same time rates his defensive abilities. Highly rate Hinge bordering on favourite player.

This is such a bad take.

We nearly beat the top side on their home deck, while being absolutely and comprehensively reamed by the umpires.

How do you take “joke of a club” from that?
It's the contest posters like to play. "Who is most outraged at club after a loss, and if you disagree you are a sycophant."

You’re an ex moderator. Lol. I still pass the test I guess. You have personal questions, go to pm
Why don't you answer for the board as I'm sure they would like to know why you have been trying to antagonise posters after a loss.

Our inaccuracies cost us we can't always blame the umpires even though they were bad. Everyone knew before the game the umpires wouldn't be on our side, we had more scoring shots and played a great game we just needed more composure in front of the sticks. 1.5 to 5.1 in that final quarter. That's the game there regardless of any umpiring decision.

Both things can be true.

Quote the antagonistic remarks please. Kane. Before I call you Kanye.

That's a horrible stat for those in the "we are developing midfielders for the future" group. Not at least trying to develop young midfielders is Nicks' biggest failure this year.
You didn't see what Rachele did early in the season playing predominately midfield and Soligo continue his development there and Pedlar getting minutes there as well?

I see a lot of Dawson in hinge.. just the way he moves in traffic, takes the game on, has a raking left boot. dawson is just that bit more accurate by foot though..

but dawson has more experience.

reckon with another 50 more games under his belt Hinge could be anything.

and I‘d definitely love to see him given a run in the middle.
With Doedee out, I think we need Hinge in defence for now... but it's a consideration in the future for sure.

True..

jones should be getting a go in there.. has all the skills, tackles hard. Goes in even harder. Normally very good hands in traffic.
Next week against the Roos should be a good opportunity to give Jones & younger players more inside midfield minutes.

Do you get 4 premiership points for that?
No you don't, but today's performance does not make us a joke of a club.

We are clearly improving year on year. It is obviously not fast enough for some on here, but it is there. We still have a way to go to be a premiership contender, and I agree with everyone else that our midfield is not where it needs to be. But still, not a joke of a club.
