I saw in the post match report both Fogarty and Walker got reported

I saw the Fogarty incident in the replay and I agree with Fog, "Are you kidding me"

Even if it were a fine, I'd still do that challenge via writing that apparently started last year, and I would just replywith "Are you kidding me"

If that even got a fine I'd challenge it. Stupid call.

But I literally have zero idea what incident is the Walker report. Someone care to tell me?

Rough tackle on Oliver right before Oliver's goal in the second. Would have been 4 weeks if he hit his head on the ground. Probably 0 given no injury.

The post review of the game on Fox..comical ( Jordy ) focusing on the last free kick ( Laird , deliberate out of bounds )..even Goody in the press conference had the audacity to hint at that being the games decider.. oblivious to the fact they well and truly had the rub of the green.. Gutsy win ..

Goodwin should be more annoyed they conceded 3 goals in the last 8 minutes of the game.

How many 1 point wins have we had?
4 wins 5 losses now in 1 point games if my counting is right. Petrenko game the last one.

3 of our 5 1 point losses were against Fremantle at Subiaco.

Sitting on it a bit longer - more Good:
- For those of us playing at home, getting Anthony Hudson as the lone caller. Jeez, footy is so much better to watch without the drivel. Nobody else stays silent after the siren to just let us take in the atmosphere. They'd have filled it with meaningless cliches and hot takes.
Mentioned it in the game day thread. Switching on and hearing Huddo and Dunstall is a win in itself. Huddo in particular one of the few play by play callers left that tries to enhance the game rather than getting himself over.

This is coming across as a Fog fanboi, but I reckon Fog went to Lever, and gave him some physical pressure.
There was a heap of niggle down back with May trying the tough stuff of Fog.

But it was all pretty embarrassing when you are also trying that crap on a 18 yr 4 gamer.

Pretty good blueprint for the comp though, unsettle May and Lever and give yourself a chance to kick goals.

(May is a gun though, without him, Lever wouldn't be able to so what he does).

Lever seemed off tonight, I reckon the crowd were in his head. Settled a bit later in the game but kept trying to do too much instead of playing percentages and taking the first option.

Fog punching that Melb guy in the shoulder, who looked like he needEd emergency surgery after
I reckon "that Melb guy" was Leaver, the dog.
Looked to me like Flopwood and Dangerflop have been moonlighting as Diving Coaches in Deesland, with the last week focusing on the head-back-in-shock ploy.

Just watched the replay

Okay - That final throwin with about 17sec left - I can get why Melbourne fans would be aggrieved and felt they were robbed as that was delibrate.

But would you have came back from 5 goals down if the umps were fair for the first 3/4? No

And on the Keays HTB with 1:30 to go - Ball wouldn't have gone in that direction without it being a legal disposal.

So yes. The umpires ****ed up 1 call which cost you a chance in winning. But they also kept you in the game at the same time.

We were better at the end of the da. GO CROWS.
Bad calls both ways, like when spargo kicked it forward and it went out of bounds and was paid deliberate. No way was that deliberate. And in one close up it appeared scholl touched the ball that went thru for a goal

Big highlight for me is the composure shown by our younger brigade.

Jones, Harry, Berry, Ned, Thilthorpe all made a number of great decisions with the ball in hand.

Fog and McAdam both took responsibility for taking shots and converted.

Definitely feel like something is building with this group.

Also it shows Murray was hand balling at right angles to his body towards Doedee, yet the ball goes virtually straight to the boundary. The only way that could happen is if Spargo deflected it.
This. Spargo knew he got a hand on it and turned for the throw-in, no complaints.
Someone needs to show it to Goodwin who made a sideshow of the incident in his presser.
I hope the AFL will come out with a statement to the effect of your summary, above.

In fairness if Fog thumped me in the back like that I would still be on the ground.

Both fines at worst.

Still in your best tonight I thought. Interceptors just tend to look worse when you lose ... even by that much.

I thought this was the main board thread - clicked a link to a post in there that brought me here!

Great game tonight, well earned victory by the Crows you guys were impressive. Great ball use, great pressure and not afraid to take the game on.
