Hard not to like the way the Hawks are playing, a brand that IS standing up in finals. What a story it could be if they go deep.
Only four first round picks in their side tonight. One of them is Scrimshaw acquired for a future fourth. The others are Ward Weddle and Watson
They have plucked this team out of their ass. Probably the most extraordinarily efficient case of list management I can recall.

"Don't rate them whatsoever" = befitting of the two sides that were thrashed as favourites in their week 1 finals.
It simply doesn't fit for the two sides who between them have won 15 of their last 18 games (excluding when they met) and thrashed two of the form sides in the comp in finals.

It’s a form of tanking
How Hokball has developed this year has been an amazing story. Hope for all bottom 4 sides that when it turns it can happen fast. When Sam Mitchell came and played for us and was midfield coach in the 18 flag we really wanted him to stay. He's well and truly lived up to expectations.

Been saying it for years, draft picks is one thing but Development and Talent acquisition is another.
(ie picking the right players to complement the group)
We aren't alone in these areas, watch WC who don't have a coach shoot up the ladder in the next 2-3 years.
