Assuming what we are being told is true, for a "leader" to tell a player that if he had been selected to play in the 2021 GF the Demons would have lost is completely unforgivable. And for this to occur in the middle of the season; it's not even Mad Monday stuff.

Demons will probably recover, but talk about hanging out your dirty laundry....

The AFL should have him put on the 12 day recovery period again after a head knock midway through a current recovery period. It would be very interesting to see if Melbourne run their 1 week suspension concurrent with that or if they would run it independently!

When alcohol is involved anything is possible, you do have to wonder why the other players didn't step in before May decided to have a drink? Why isn't Melksham punished? Is it because he won't play anyway? Got to be more in it than a crack about not playing in the Grand Final? May has gotten off lightly here.
