Fair enough. But you don't expect it to happen to the reigning premiers or midway through the season. This is the sort of shit you expect to involve "cellar dwellers" on Mad Monday. That's what has amazed me.

if there was a hint of doubt whether May had concussion before this, Jake the Melk removed it 
Melksham has always come across as a decent young man and its obvious more was said and MFC are trying to bury what actually was said…the club has had internal issues lately that weren’t handled very well !
I clearly remember May slagging gold cost players that left the club when he was co-captain…within 12-18 months he did exactly that…I’d say there’s very little between his ears.
Both players should be suspended by the club

May was breaking team rules by drinking… at a dinner with teammates? Nobody pulled him up? Was anybody from the leadership group there?

Whatever May said must have been pretty bad for Melksham to get away with belting him. There is no excuse to escalate to violence but clearly the club has a level of empathy towards Melksham for reacting as he did or he would have been punished more harshly.
It’s made of glass and usually found in fetish clubs, I believe.
gees who wrote the apology! we are friends that love each other very much! said every divorcing celebrity couple before all hell breaks loose! what men actually speak like that!!! especially footy players! there is definitely more to it, cant believe no one had their camera on their phone going! one punch in retaliation to that rather nasty but not punch worthy comment, and the front desk was broken? and the guy that gets hit is suspended? and the other guy got an infection in his hand because he punched someone!! you could not make this shit up!

when i was about 25 or so went to the tunnel with a girlfriend hoping to see some muscle bound players, preferable collingwood, (im female in case your wondering!!) only some very grotty looking lower rung players! ugh what a dive!
on another note, i gotta say, after so so many Collingwood stories that everyone loves to laugh about, i now get it, cos this thread is very funny! my footy hating dog "supporter" hubby came home laughing, hjahahaha, did you hear??? been on nicks all afternoon have you? im like huh? they must have mentioned the game on monday, he thought it was our players. lucky for him, i didnt have to get an infected hand!!

geez, the handling of this issue by the club has been appalling…they need to clarify what happened, otherwise it is going to drag on with speculation…. , it would / will be pretty damning if the inhouse cctv footage gets released showing what everyone seems to know what happened… i mean melksham’s hand is injured but no punches thrown?? please, dont treat us like fools…
