If the story is true, then Melbourne should come out and clarify that May was suspended for drinking while on concussion protocols, not suspended for making a smart-arse comment, or for defending himself when someone belted him. You'd hope May wouldn't have been suspended in this scenario if he wasn't under concussion protocols (if the story's true).

If it was Melksham, it speaks volumes for a guy nearing the end of his career and unable to get into the senior team, to pull up a vital member of the side, and so called team leader. That's leadership in itself from Melksham. I think it's a bit rich for people to laugh it off because Melksham is no longer a best 22 player.
